Hello, i just started to whant to play a nascar game, i did play Daytona back in the day A LOT bot and i was abaout to buy Nascar 08 to my Ps2... Do you guys think i can start to play Heat 5 without any other experience of this type of games?
It says right on the menu relaxed yellows will trigger caution if two or more cars are involved in an incident. I run that on road courses but on ovals you get stuff like suarez nailing the wall and the races just keeps going so I don't really like it. I don't know if this is different with all of the mods you run but in my experience mechanical failures very rarely cause cautions. Usually their engine just blows up and they go slow until they get to pit road and everything goes by fine. This game tries to be intelligent in that the longer a tire run goes the more likely there is to be a crash, but what just ends up happening is there is a caution right before green flag pit stops EVERY SINGLE TIME and it is frustrating. My rule when playing this game is to go long every single time so that when it happens I can at least be on cycle with everyone. I run with normal mechanical failures and it is very consistent with 3-4 a race. sometimes you get 2 sometimes you get 5 but normally it is 3 or 4. I think you got 4 this race I don't think gragson was a mechanical I think he was just slow lol.

Your previous NH5 careers had Infrequent Mechanicals and Strict Yellows (Relaxed for Superspeedways), and it worked well.
Keep relaxed yellows. I tried doing the strict yellows with no many failures and I don't think works good
