Did you know you can use standard offset tools to air bend? The great thing about air bending is that you can use the same tool set to achieve a variety of bends. So, if your customer only needs a certain height offset and the angle can vary, then you may not need to invest in a custom tool. That particular press brake features an NC9-EX(II?) controller. When you multiply the offset by 1.414”, does that mean you can actually program that tool in angle mode, or are you all using depth mode?

Depth mode works much better for this type of bending on the NC9EX controller. Angle mode would likely work, but it would require a lot of angle correction to achieve the desired results.
