Lance Dawe keeps mentioning “size” and lack of “wrap-up in tackling” throughout your interview. This is concerning to me. Seems the Giants might have reached in the 3rd round for this selection. Not having an interception in college ball is also a red flag. I’m sure the Giant brain trust knows a lot more about the pros and cons of this player, but I have concerns. Hopefully this selection will work out.
Reach? Maybe. Probably. Certainly less of a reach than Wandale at 43, Ezedou at 67 and Flott at 81. This GM actually took those guys in the top 100 in the same year. Boggles the mind.

Ptrain another great video I enjoyed your interview with Lance Dawe. He had some good things to say our cb Phillips gave up few yards per catch. He is going to compete to be a slot corner. It sounds like he is a physical corner who can light receivers up. Dawe had some good points about Phillips as well as things he needs to improve on. It sounds like Phillips has alot of energy who is also a hard worker It sounds Phillips will be a very good player. Phillips can't play outside CB in NFL. He gave up 67% of rec and it should have been higher because there were a bunch of drops by wrs. He plays run well. Should be a battle at slot cb.

And Wan’Dale, Flott and Ezedou when healthy are pretty good.

We have no choice but to give the kid a chance especially with the right coaching…
