Important question: HOW did you come up with the shot list ahead of time? Seeing the production process is cool and all, but can you walk us through your creative process for deciding which shots to shoot?
I second this! So many college courses and tutorials say get CU, MS, WS, etc but not the process of deciding which shots to shoot. Also, I noticed videographers get creative and don't just do head-on WS, MS, CU shot. They'll do head-on WS, then move the camera 90 degrees to the left and do a MS lets say. I'm interested to know how they decide where to put the camera? Is this personal preference or is it a process taught somewhere?

This was such a great video! Thanks for producing it! Absolutely love the follow through of her stretches!! Car scene was also so awesome!! (We just bought a new van so wife and I are doing this for sure!!). Just because you inspired my creativity, I was thinking it would have been cool to see some dust smoke from her feet running on the dirt and maybe a scenic exit drone shot. Would you consider doing a video on how you come up with the idea for a video and create the shot list?
Maybe it’s already covered in your other videos but as a beginner videographer/TH-camr with no experience, what happened to me is I have an idea for a video and shot a whole bunch of footages but now in Post, discovered I have around 100 clips which is a nightmare LOL. Definitely should have gone further with the video planning process and and expanded on my shot list. Still figuring out a workflow and wanted insight on your process.

nice course how to use a gimbal. How did you make focus, my main concern with my new z6ii. do you use gimbal focus feature, manual focus or a7ii natural powerful focus on face and eye ? do you prefer weebil2 to rsc2 or rs2 ?

Great vídeo thanks for share!! I only have one thing to comment... I think the color grading of the final vídeo is not matching every clip, for example first shot is cold mood and the green of the plants are dark, then other shots is warm mood and the green with more yellow, and keep changing.. i know regular people can't see that hahaha, but as a filmaker and photographer (amateur and still learning) i see things like color grading match, cuts between shots, and more details in order to learn and get better on my work.
Anybody saw the same?
People don’t like this kind of comments😂 but those who wanna evaluate skills always find it helpful, you’re right, colors don’t match through the video, white balance looks to be the same between sunrise and 9am, slo mo has issues when theres noticeable difference between steps on close ups, I can’t compare this to let’s say Chris videos, but we all learn from mistakes✌️

Nice. Also i think the person who shot this video,the whole thing from 00:00- start to finish- is doing amazing job.i like his shots colors ,edit,slow motion and movement of the camera..good job ,you should probably give him some credits:)
She did... at the end she said thank you to everyone involved in the video including "Josh behind the camera" who is her editor/videographer and appears/gets credited in a lot of videos.

Loved to watch the process. Great video, like usual. One minor adjustment: I think in the final sequence the temperature shifts drastically from one shot to the other.
I think it would’ve helped to explain the type of b-roll you were filming at the beginning of the video because I didn’t understand the “why” until the end
very informative. I guess if you film the shots out of the final chronological order you also need to think of the time so the sunlight and weather doesn't change too much once you cut every part together.
