    If people are looking at the Kwazar trigger sprayers, I fully recommend the '360' versions that have a weighted tube pipe inside so product is drawn through them right till they are empty. I have 3 now, 1 litres for APC (Koch Chemie GS at 15:1), general wheel cleaner (AngelWax Billberry at 5:1) and a general drying aid / waterless wash (CarPro Ech20 at 20:1) . ALL GREAT products, great value. The sprayers will last for YEARS too.

    Ive got one of these, but I got a couple of Marolex sprayers recently, which I MUCH prefer, not only for the size (can get a 3l one for a little more than the kwazar). I bought them from the manufacturer on Amazon and bought a few together to save on shipping from Poland (no import tax as were still in the eu).

    We use the same ones at work in the valet bay, mainly for applying wheel cleaner, and another has TFR in.
    They withstand constant use, 8 hours a day, 7 days a week, and last at least a couple of years.

    I have the solvent version of the one in the clip, using it with a petroleum based degreaser.
    It started acting up after like 3 years, the pump piston would not release backpressure to let you pump.
    Tried installing a new seal/valve kit, didnt help.
    Bought a new one, and from day one the trigger sticks so it keeps spraying for a few secs after you release it.
    Will probably return it for a new one on warranty.
    Other than that, very pleased with the sprayer (which is why I keep buying them lol)

    Nice one John. 100% agree, I have this pump sprayer. I also have a Hozelock, Mesto and cheep ones. The Kwazar is far superior and well worth the money, it feels right when using it, nicely balanced, the part you grip is nice, the tapper of it means when you put it down full or empty it won’t topple. Agree the pressure release is awkward but that is the only negative. The Mesto pressure release is a small switch you move with your forefinger whilst holding the handle and requires no effort. I’ve got some 10.1 green star in mine for doing inside arches/wheels/tyres.

    I have been using a Kwazar pump foamer during this winter. It has been used for TFR and quite high concentration. I kept the TFR in the bottle between the washes and I found that the pump did not work 100% after that. After I clean the pump and lubricate the parts everything workes perfect again. So I would like to have some type of lid that I could replace the top with the pump when I store the bottle with between washes. In this way I could have the top off during storage and still have product in the bottle. All in all I love the pump sprayer/foamer And I have just bought another smaller one for other products.

    I use the double action spray bottles you showed near the end of the vid and they are fantastic. The only issue I find when using Surfex HD is the end of the suction tube sometimes get blocked by some sort of crystallisation but a quick shake normally dislodges it 👍.

      Hey, I'm trying to choose between iK Multi Pro 2 or Kwazar Venus Alkaline Sprayer for using with Surfex HD. Would you say the iK is better then? Seen some people say the iK needs lots more pumping compared to the Kwazar but not sure if that's true.

    Would be interested to know your thoughts on these over the IK Sprayer which seem to be the rage at the moment!

    I think I’m going to get me one of these Jon,thanks for the review! I would like to use it for wheel cleaning. Speaking of wheel cleaning I ran out of Adam’s Wheel Cleaner. I like it but I want to try something new. Not too aggressive,something I can use safely on a regular basis on any sort of wheels... Brake Buster is mostly out of stock in Belgium. I am considerig Bilt-Hamber (but I’m afraid it’s a bit too aggressive),Tuga Chemie is also an option. I don’t know if Koch Chemie has a good one? My BMW Z4 wheels are painted in Jet Black so I need a cleaner that is a bit slick and foams well... Any suggestions?
    I also would love to try the EZ Detail mini brush because with my Microfiber Madness Flat wheelbrush I can’t get between the caliper but the EZ Detail looks rather hard compairing to the one of Microfiber Madness...
    I am thinking about to try some other Bilt-Hamber products (like surfex HD and Autofoam,...)as well but I always think they are too aggressive...

    in case u dont now, there are dedicated acid- and alkaline- and solvent-safe versions of it too. acid ones r red and alkalines dark blue and the solvent one is black. but to b honest i didnt see any difference in using diluted alkaline apcs in both blue light&dark versions i got after shelving them with liquid in it for quite some time. no material degregation whatsoever on the baby blue one. neat maybe. no experience with the acid&solvent version. the foam nozzle attachment is dispensable - got one, its more or less useless for me.

    Stupid question from a new detailer- What do you tend to use surfex at 10/1 for? Thanks, great video as always.

    • @paperchameleon
      @paperchameleon 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use Surfex HD at that strength predominantly for my tyres, around the fuel filler, around the exhaust, foamed to cling to wheel arch liner/carpet, on very dirty textured plastic trim, foamed in the engine bay and on areas of the car underbody before sealing. It has so many uses at different dilutions. I've used it 1:1 to degrease from oil leaks though it probably would have worked well at less than that too. You can use it at very low dilutions on some upholstery materials as well.

    Another great video John (or is it Jon, I've seen you called both?) I'm fairly new to your channel but have become an avid watcher in no time.
    I'm a bit unsure of when to use my fallout remover? I currently use Auto Finesse Iron Out only because it was recommended to me by a mate before I discovered your channel. I will be changing to your recommendation once I've used it all up.
    At what stage of the detailing process do I apply it, before or after snow foaming, before or after washing, on wet wheels and paintwork or dry?
    I will be applying it with my pressure bottle from now on for sure!
    Thanks in advance to anyone who replies!

    • @forensicunplugged4295
      @forensicunplugged4295  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would recomend using it before claying. so if your trying to work fast.. do all the wet work. on the final rinse car is wet... spray with fallout.. leave it for 4-5 mins to go purple.. then wash off with a mitt. and rinse... dont just rinse. Then clay the car.
      spraying it on the paint and just rinsing does not actually do that much. just be carefull with them drying now that the temperature is improving for sure mate.

    • @steverabbits
      @steverabbits 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@forensicunplugged4295 wouldn't rinsing it off with a mitt lift up the metal particles and drag them across the paintwork and scratch it? I'm guessing not or you wouldn't tell me to do it that way but the thought of it makes me wince.

    • @forensicunplugged4295
      @forensicunplugged4295  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@steverabbits it will pull the metal out yes.. but its more gentle and less pressure than dragging them out when claying.. gotta get them out though. claying messes up paintwork.

    • @steverabbits

      @@forensicunplugged4295 ah right, now the penny has dropped. Apologies, I'm a detailing novice! 🙄
