Jesus Mary and Joseph!! It's a Christmas song? Vafangole!! It's a New York song. New York! About 2 drug addicts. And yet, you took it back to the immigrant experience. I'm first generation American. Colombian. Fourth on my father's side, Italian. This song and your take on it hits me in the heart.
I love the original version so much I didn't think any cover version would be anything but a waste of time. I was completely wrong, this is a brilliant version!

I’m not sure about this treatment. The change in tempo gives it a different vibe which I can’t decide about. I will listen a couple of times and see what I think. Appreciate the braveness to try a different interpretation though.
