At over 80 I was beginning to despair at the direction “we” were going, but “finding” Barcelona and Gimnazija Kranz gives me hope that all is not lost. Luiz Bonfá Guitarrista Luiz Floriano Bonfá foi um cantor, violonista e compositor brasileiro. Carioca de nascimento aprendeu sozinho, quando criança, a tocar violão. Aos 13 anos passou a ter aulas com o uruguaio Isaías Sávio. Essas aulas se tornaram muitos cansativas, pois tinha de sair de sua casa na periferia do Rio, andar uma grande porção do caminho a pé e depois pegar um bonde para Santa Teresa, onde morava o professor. Devido à extraordinária dedicação, Isaías não lhe cobrava pelas aulas.

I just started thinking that while Rock music in general might suggest one bobs their head up and down, jazz might suggest one sways back and forth. Traditional Latino music most definitely stems down from the 3 over 2 (or 4) from Africa, combined first with Spanish music, later with European music in general, then later again with the blues from North America. I studied the "Clave" rhythms for about a year (3-2 or 2-3, usually). I am reasonably certain that is Africa's greatest contribution to modern music. Of course, many countries deny that idea. Ginger Baker said something like when he finally "got that" it was awesome. After his commercial successes he moved to Africa.
I n Brazil Choro(chorinho- Brazilia instrumental music style ) gave live to Bossa nova & Samba, and its clear the Afro influence in all brazilian and Latin American music style .
