It’s an absolute peach. I just purchased two of those in the past couple months. Here in the states they are becoming quite desirable. They’re easy to find parked in someone’s garage or yard. Not too many things go wrong with them with the exception of rust. And that’s usually mostly on the jack points or the trunk area. The first one I purchased had moisture in the distributor cap, the second one had a bad ignition module. They are very easy to work on, and very straightforward to diagnose. But one that simply ran through a mud puddle and shut off, that’s a walk in the park.
This channel should have way more subscribers. Keep up the good work. Always great content and you get some decent cars in. Really good channel and your not stingy with the uploads.
Takes me back to when I had a 190e 2 litre ,had a problem with non starting ,my mate took the relay that's behind battery out , opened it up & found part of the printed circuit was burnt .He cleaned the circuit and soldered the fault . Car went for years after repair ,a new relay from Mercedes 15 years ago was over £100 , good luck guys ,enjoying all your Vids
Excellent video boys , knew you would get it running , they go on for ever and ever them engines , get a jump pack will save you a load of time and messing around .
Never in doubt really boys those things run forever , nice 1 James John and Marcus , Travis it's empty !! You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink
Whenever i have a problem with my motor I'll be around to yours in a instant.! Because the other week my van wouldn't start the AA couldnt get it going and the garage it went to still couldn't grt it going!😡😡😡😡. Nice one lads👍👏👏
I couldn't believe James' face when Marcus said suck, squeeze, bang, blow, it was a common and easy to remember expression for explaining combustion. I'm a similar age to Marcus, so what are the youth taught these days - plug it in and see if computer says no?
lol at mechanical innuendos I drove an E reg 190 E to Italy in 1993 was great very good diagnosis James the oil smells the fork problem A missed opportunity there to edit in a fair ground roller coaster in to Marcus's butt well done lads and thank you
You lads seem to need a battery. Lol. I have a honda engine with a 12v car alternator fitted it's got a pair of jump leads fitted. Works like jump starting but very portable. Never goes flat and wacks the power into a flat battery very quick.

From what i have seen the car looks quite tidy, i did not see any rust, i think its previous owner just gave up on it.
