I put a Flowtech Raptor turbo muffler on a 93 C1500 4.3, 2.5" single pipe with no cat, turned down off the muffler before the axle. That's a bit too loud for me, might run it to the bumper with a glasspack just before the end. I bet this is insanely loud. Maybe it's the bore size, but the 4.3 sounds louder to me than the 305 V8 does.

@@saab9-5 It's probably because V6s aren't as deep as a V8, is why they're so ear-piercing loud. There's someone in my neighborhood with a 4cyl Accord that the exhaust fell off before the cat, and it's loud inside my house with the windows closed.

Im not bashing it.. my first vehicle was a 91 s10 shortbed 2wd 4.3 5speed that truck would move out. And spin wheels as long as you could hold it straight... But it never sounded good .. them 4.3's sound like 💩 no matter what you do to them but they have great performance
