There is a 330 acre farm on southside of Atlanta that grows strawberries, peaches, and blueberries. (unsure of anything else) They have plasticulture with water/feeding systems under the plastic. Their U-Pick business makes them mucho money. People from several counties around Atlanta come there.
Thank you for the interesting video.
Dont mess with the crown 😀

I planted bare root strawberries and pinched off the first buds. I have not seen anything since. Lots of care. Now down to 6 out of 12. Still no blooms. God it’s hot here I saw fla.
Good video brother

Urea is not immediately available . It still has to be broken down via the nitrogen cycle which requires bacteria. Good videos man keep it up
Hey Dre, great video, thank you for all information. One question. What´s the width between rows ? What´s the width between plants in one row ? (both direction) Thank you ! Take care.
We have the hardest time with crab grass, or whatever that grass is that grows in root-ropes beneath the soil. It crisscrosses in huge webs under the dirt. I've tried the plastic and it grows under it and invades everything. Suggestions for getting rid of it and keeping it out?
I have this in the garden. The only thing that has helped decrease the. In the garden is black plastic. It gets hot enough under the plastic to cook the roots of the weeds.
Good content. Where do you order the plants?
What distance u keep between plants and bed to bed ?
I only have an L3901 Kubota (36 hp) I’m thinking I probably can’t pull the raised bed attachment with that
Hi dude, I am into strawberries here and would love to scale up and reach out to more customers here...can we roll?

Loved hearing about your variety and why you picked this variety. Also, appreciated the disease and preventive methods of control! Very informative. Thank you!
Correction: There are THREE types of strawberries. June-bearing (produces in June), everbearing (produces 2 or 3 smaller crops per year), and day-neutral (produces a steady crop all season long)
Can these strawberries grow fast .And how much.
💪🏼 Good video 🇺🇸

Hi I am Abdul Qayyum dehyya from Pakistan
Take this as a helpful critique. You can use the CC to see what the AI thinks your saying.
2:11 he "Delivered" the berries/plugs. We "Purchased " from a Producer/Vendor.. 'His name is" He is passing his "Knowledge" on to me as a first time grower of these and how I should handle these (berries, this variety), acclimated to where I grow/farm.
(I Looked this up; Anthracnose is a general term for a variety of diseases that affect plants in similar ways. Anthracnose is especially known for the damage that it can cause to trees. Anthracnose is caused by a fungus, and among vegetables, it attacks cucurbits.
)
At first, I was like oh, wait.... what,... anthrax?
by 2:26 your on a roll.
3:33 a reoccurring question is why are we planting, this crop/Strawberries in the fall?
I'm blown away at the info you produced..... I can;t wait to see the harvest, or it could be a huge fail... nah... monster strawberries on short cake... pancakes with peanut butter, Jellies, preserves/jams, dipped in chocolate... Mothers day.... Strawberries!!!

where can i get the black plastic? and how long dose it last?
So we get to from Morgan county seeds , it last about 1 season!
How often do you replant your strawberry beds?
Following
Killing your microbes with synthetics will harm your soil, cause compaction, which will lead to run off, which leads to further reliance on synthetics. Better to problem solve and make your own organic fertilizer.
I am new to gardening, I have started a worm bin and do hot composting, what else should I do to avoid pests, but also add beneficial fungi I’ve never seen any mycorrhiza or mycelium in my soil :( thinking about growing some magic mushrooms in straw and using the straw as mulch after first flush
Im 15 and really want to start growing strawberries but have very limited space. Im not sure on how much I should invest or even if I should. Any thoughts?
We can team up you know
To hot in the Midwest to grow everbearings? Stays 70 degrees in Florida, that’s why we grow everbearing? I live near the Strawberry capital in Florida we are over 100 degrees all summer with 100% humidity
Midwest has bout high 97-105 for an average with 100% humidity with absolutely no air flow or bodies of water (Florida surrounded by ocean and gulf) to cool it. Midwest/South hot is about the worst there is.
🍓😍
Cqn I apply for work in your farm?Im willing
So to clarify, are you saying you would get the same amount of berries if you cut the runners?
Also, do you replant every year with plasticulture or plant every 3 yrs?
Also, thank you so much for your videos! I have been following the last month and enjoy all of it!
Does June bearing plants grow runners?
Yes
How often do you have to replace your strawberry plants?
Every year. In September.
@@mar1videono ever 3 years
If you use black plastic you cannot SEE the weeds growing under the plastic and you cant remove the weeds!!
There is no light, therefore no weeds under black plastic
There are ALL KINDS of bus that can attack your berries. Aphids are the worst. That guy who told you that you dont have to do pest control is full of sh_t.
No aeroponic or hydroponic tower for this guy, smh.
Strawberries are super easy to grow as hydroponic crops
