The Left Right music video was a surprise drop and MY GOODNESS the girls looks soo AMAZING!!!! The complimentary color palette and the space setting was totally giving TLC vibes. This was truly Y2K to the max!!!

for a guide, on their channel they have like two minute self intros that actually work really well to learn a bit about them directly from them.
Towards the end of the song where they’re just having fun and smiling, I was on the edge of tears. I could feel their emotions and happiness. It feels like I’m watching my kids reaching their dreams lol 🥹. Also, that huuuuge smile on Cocona’s face during the second chorus!
I can feel they are going to be internationally huge like Spice Girls or Pussycat Dolls soon.
Even though they are heavily promoting in KPop scene right now, I think XG is more like continuing the golden era of 90s/2000s global girl groups.

It's interesting to think about their influences though. Because rnb and the rnb-ifluenced sound was HUGE in Japan in the early and mid-00s as well. Crystal Kay, Hikaru Utada, Namie Amuro, and Ayumi Hamasaki were (still are) huge artists that were release tracks in that genre. So, I wonder how of that played into musical references as well.

Literally STANNING. Sorry but there is no other gg right now with the same amount of all rounders, especially not in the hip hop/r&b/girl crush (whatever yall wanna call it) sound. Their vocal line is all main vocal-worthy, rap line is all main rapper worthy and ANY of them would be the main dancer if they were in any other group.
