watching you clip the servo plastic and plugging it int the transmitter was pretty awesome. Silly me, I just kept ordering adapters and more adapters to make it plug and play. I have a mess of wires inside my plane. just got some soldering lessons this week. Now I need some practice before I do it on my own stuff.

Thanks for the video. A few quick questions. want to install a cam with OSD like you showed on an opterra. Can you recommend a board to use for GPS, airspeed voltage, etc? I was considering the Immersion RC EzOSD. Also, what camera would you recommend I use with it? Many of them have a built in OSD. I guess I would not want that. I plan to use a mobius for the recording. just need a cam for the nose. Thanks!

I have an XK Detect X380 with FPV. I'd like to add telemetry and OSD to my FPV set up. I've looked for the modules you list here on line and haven't been able to find any. Would you please post a link to a source?
So I only need this for GPS and RTH (return to home) as well as the OSD, or I would call that a HUD. I don't need a flight controller? I have a receiver with telemetry ports, and a FS-i6 transmitter all set up. So can I plug this in to have GPS functionality, RTH and HUD? I also have FPV set up.

ok on osd - u plug ur cam - ur fpv transmiter - ur gps modual - im I correct to understand to get your drones volts we need to feed pos and neg into the osd unit kinda how u did when you plugged in the battery

last time i thougt to use servo cabels to extend the eagle tree system for the fpvraptor, it is a long distance from the back (videotransmitter) to the plains front (cam) so now i will try - thanks a lot! what osd do you use innthe video? looks pritty simple :D
Thats The Cyclops Breeze OSD, All of the Cyclops Line of OSD are really easy to set up and wire up.

Hi I'm new to the drone world.
I'm trying to set up my FPV using a FX X40 5.8ghz 40CH 200mW transmitter.
My question is are all servo connectors the same size if not how do I determine the size I need?
I need a male 3wire servo connector so I can solder it to a 90 degree micro USB cable to use a action cam.
Servo connectors are always the same. 3 pins, bottom pin is GND or ground. Middle pin is +5V. Top pin is either signal, or empty. Some have a little notch for orientation, and this is always standard. There is a matching notch in the servo port, at least in your receiver.

Damn, been in the hobby for so long and never knew how to share the camera and fpv transmitter.
If I put a camera with OSD on a jet rc that won't have a battery and will only be using a jet engine. Do I need to get a battery just for the camera?

The videos I see of the artificial horizons on the OSD's aren't very accurate at all. Is there any one of them that is really good? The one I have is a Remzibi which I wouldn't trust my life to at all.

Q? Would I tap into the CX20s GPS? or would you suggest a Osd with GPS?
That would bring me to another Q?. Is it not safe for 2 GPS devices on the same unit?
The 2 Gps receivers can be close together without issues. They are both looking for the same signal.
for the osd I would suggest the cyclops breeze osd if you can fit it inside your quad copter,

HiI have a cheerson cx20 drone which has a gps. I bought the skylark tiny osd. My question is the drone and the tiny osd both have a gps. Do I use 2 gps or wire it to use only 1. I forgot can you have 2 gps module side by side without interference
You will have to run both GPS and they will be fine next to each other since they are both receiving
Ty so much. the 1/2 sheet instructions on the tiny osd are terrible , I'm new to this and it is very confusing, like RSSI what... lol
+MrMetor99 RSSI is range signal strength indicator. if your transmitter rx can put out rssi you can see when your radio control signals are getting weak.
Could I program an OSD to sound an alarm on the from the transmitter to the receiver when for example altitude is too low.

my harness from the battery to the camera broke the camera has two wires red and black. But the battery has 3 red black and white how do I hook it up to get the camera to work
