do you think it is possible to cut off the limbs with an arrow or a sword to make them slower and easier to kill like dead space. Because the enderman just reminds me of the necromorphs
@@schnitzel_9125 with some parasites, maybe. Others may be able to adapt to the loss of limbs- depends on the complexity of the parasites.
@@Pecora0ra Would it be possible to slowly port older versions of the mod but into newer versions of Minecraft like 1.18.2?
Most of the good apocalypse type mods are 1.18.2 and above.
I recon it could be hard but porting more basic versions would be easier.

Now find a way to add the Sculk infestation Mod, Spore infestation Mod, and the 2 SCP mods, Flesh that Hates and When Day Breaks, and MAYBE the old Alien Vs Predator mod, and have them all compete for invasion dominance.
And here I thought the parasites couldn't get more disgusting, but those feral variants really kick it up a notch. Amazing work SRP team!

@@ambassadorofbadtaste yeah also i tested it and in normal conditions the fer enderman is rarer to spawn by conversion needing 8 gnats and no other interactions so...
They can teleport primatives... Imagine if they tped one right before it adapted...

I love how well this mod takes inspiration from so many well known body horror monsters and makes them not only mesh together perfectly, but add them into a game that seems like they would stick out like a sore thumb in. No matter where the inspiration came from, be it Halo’s Flood with the gnats and feral forms, The Thing with the original ideas and forms, it’s all so amazingly done!
I would say the feral forms look like SCP-610.
@@cmmpr111 It does have that kind of vibe, but I think that mostly comes from them being extremely meaty looking, where the flood look a lot more fungal in the games, but the whole thing with gnats burrowing into their bodies makes it super obvious they're inspired by the flood first and foremost, at least to me
I took inspiration from Carrion for the feral textures and look- carrion fanbase is super cool btw @@KiwiTheIguana

you know what this mod needs? trophies. things like heads, severed tentacles and other severed parasite parts people can mount on their walls.
"I still don't like the concept of Enderman having flesh" is what I would say before, but after seeing that feral thing, I literally can't care less. That looks sooo cool! Well done 👍

Hey this might already be a thing, but I think the mod could really use a command that just disables every single feature of the mod and then a command that enables it. This would be useful to postpone the parasite apocalypse in custom experiences. Right now I’m imagining one of those massive server “experiments” where a ton of players are invited to the server with the origins mod so they can be blazeborns and they have like 30 days to build a city of fire to defend against the parasites before they start to appear

@@rltt379it’s for 1.12.2 only right now, you can go into the configs and change either where the parasites will spawn, or where the evolution can progress

This new update's looking good! The feral parasites look awesome and will be a true terror to fight off I bet, plus I feel like many of us have been awaiting the Assimilated Squid for a long time now!
This is genuinely one of the most impressive, and one of my favorite, mods for any game I have seen and played. Keep up the great work!
theres something so weirdly pleasent yet unnerving about just watching a world you know die as classical music plays in the background
I been fallowing for this mod for some time and every time I look away or take a break from this mod, it gets more terrifying, keep it up man
The Feral Variants really give me SCP "The Flesh That Hates" vibes and I am In love with that like they are completely unrecognizable from the original mobs they were born from!

You guys are really making it harder and harder to actually live, great update, id love to see what the Hijacked mobs (the ones that havent been added yet) will look like in the future, Great work Developmenet team!
It seems to me that the skeleton can be infected since it is still organic, but the blaze, in addition to consisting of some kind of fiery dust, also burns, so the blaze (and probably the skeleton's wither) can be left uninfected
Hijacked blaze and skeletons exist in the mod
But they're still WIP

I really like the Feral Enderman, seeing it run at the speed of sound is both hilarious and terrifying. The hijacked Golem looks awesome and I love its running animation! Awesome update! The dedication put into this mod is insane! Huge thumbs up!
i really like this update! the new feral mobs are pretty interesting and the assimilated squid makes underwater bases much more dangerous. looking forward to more underwater parasites ngl

@@Pecora0ra I think a pretty cool new mob to add would be something like the gravemind from halo, a MASSIVE monster made out of flesh and biomass. that'd be neat.
The Enderman's Feral form reminds me of Freddy Kruger from a Nightmare on Elm Street (0:51)
Note: It's because the Feral Enderman has a pink and red skin mixture. It is very skinny, and it has sharp weapons as the hands like Freddy Kruger
Omg, I love this mod. Honestly, I all ways thought an infection mod, exactly like this, would be awsome, until idk a year ago, I’ve heard about this, started learning about it. This is the perfect infection mod, thanks for continuing working on it and everything.
Compare to those "Spooky man that chases you for a while and despawns"mods this one is actually scary and fun! thank you to all SRP developer team for making this mod !
I will wait for Assimilated and feral Endermen to be given the opportunity to take blocks, like healthy ones do.
That will need a new parasite enderman, since the current lose their hands.
that will be our end... imagine you are in your obsidian base and an assimilated enderman takes 1 block of your base and other assimilated endermans teleport every parasite inside your base.

This js such a terrifying mod, it brings such hopelessness, the loneliness you feel is worse than vanilla Minecraft, there is no other human but now all of the living things you could meet are dying out to become parasite monsters with no other purpose but to soread and kill everything to assimilate itself and die out with time when nothing else is left
I really love how the mod makes these parasites have so many possibilities and abilities that makes it complex and interesting rather than just simple. along with the designs to go with it

I've tried the parasite mod before, and the two biggest issues I've faced is a; Just starting a new world, and being immediately attacked at Mach 10 by what should be Peaceful mobs. or b; Trying to survive *one day* and having the infection spread too damn fast.
Srp players when they hear blocks breaking in base: he is in the walls. He is in the goddamn walls
This update is amazing, I can’t wait to see the Iron Golem & Squid both becoming parasites!
Idk what else you guys are gonna add but I’m excited to more of this mod. Maybe more sea creature becoming parasite who knows!

Theres something sad about golems now being vulnerable to the parasites. These fearless defenders being turned against their masters is such a sad sight to see
Even sadder they arent infected but hijacked so they are still self conscious but they are being used as armor by parasites in them
And it doesn't even make any sense since they're not biological creatures, there's nothing to infect there.
This is well made, keep up the good quality and never stop improving!

the amount of effort put into this mod is somthing else. To do it all for the sake of doing it is also really insane
still waitin for sim llama. Oh and the devourer would be nice to get implemented someday finally. These squids are a nice opportunity to add it.

it's a very good mod but most likely it's gonna ruin your experience, you will need a few op armor and weapons mods to balance this (sorry for bad eng)
Looks amazing. I always thought water based parasites would be awesome, this is probably my favourite mod you guys have done a great job.
I want to say thank you to all the srp team to continue to make this really cool mod in 1.12.2, this is truly cool to have at least one mod that will stay in one of the best modding version of minecraft, thank to all of you ❤❤❤(I can't wait to see what you are you going to add next...)

i think it would be really cool if hijacked skeletons could combine to spawn hosts like the assimilated mobs form primitives

1 thing I'm curious to see in the future (if it is possible), is a way for the player to be infected, become a parasite and being able to play as one. This could be so much fun, imagine a world in which there's 2 players, a bit of a story and all of that. Then one of the players gets infected and turns into one of the parasites. A something like that could be very fun to play with friends.
Now that the mod has updated, I'm excited to see the gameplays around it, this is gonna be so much fun to watch (I sadly can't play it because I don't have a PC).
Friends of mine set up a server with this mod and some tech mods. The screams of sheer terror have been awesome, absolutely phenomenal mod. Scariest moment was when one of the assimilated endermen brought in a hoarde of assimilated humans into our little bunker- well it was funny to me but it had a buddy of mine screech in fear lmfao

Feral are like between assimilated parasites and primitive parasites for the most part of course assimilated enderman is still the exception having more stats than most primitives only downside is he doesn't adapt to damage sources.
The feral enderman could probably annihilate all the primitive parasites
@@smallxplosion9546 you are probably right but against the flying ones and maybe the devourer it would have a bit of a hard time.

I think the hard part; is avoiding parasite nests, because of the rather large bipedal ones with the ribcage jaws that chase you down from a mile away, and even with iron armor they can mop the floor with you if you cant get above them.
Seeing more of the mod and the additions they made for it; im starting to wonder how im going to survive day 1; let alone the first night
The addons are not made by us nor are they official. Personally, I think they mess with the progression by adding and removing points way too early- but feel free to play them how you like!

i like how gnats look like rupters and do the same things but gnats feralize the mobs instead of assimilating them like the rupter

I swear, there's Going to be a Point to where the Parasites will get so Bad, That it won't even be Possible to Progress or Survive Correctly in a Minecraft world Unless you have Military, Base, Or Literally anything that can Kill these Things effectively from Other Mods.
maybe there will be a Update to add a Villager Varient for the Minecraft Comes Alive Mod, or Grimoire of Gaia, Just spitballing.

I wonder; would you ever consider adding something to the mod that would allow the player to become part of the infection? Like something to sow chaos on a multiplayer world, or live among the parasites? Being able to spread the parasites personally would be a fun thing to toy with on servers.
