This is why I love alternative rock. In what other genre would you get this passionate song about the anxiety you have when you aren't emotionally prepared for house guests? I can't think of another song I've more closely identified with in years.

The earliest video that exists of me is a video of me at about 6 months absolutely jamming and dancing to the talking heads. Legend has it I used to cry in the early morning until my dad would turn on a song like take me to the river just to quiet me up. Thanks for giving us fans new music!!

I have been listening to David and his music since the mid 80’s. I have always found him very quirky and eccentric with his vocal style, mannerisms and lyrics. He really He doesn’t have to try and be that way, he just is. Everyone has a different take on him but I find a lot of humour in him and his music, gives me a good laugh.
I'll be seeing this wonderful man in Oxford, god willing I'll get tickets.

as someone with mild symptoms of schizophrenia, i really relate to this. I also played this to my uncle who had dementia and he told me that this was a really good way of understanding musically what he was going through. your music is such a universal language of experiences and I really can't overstate how important your work is.

It's completely the other way around. First thing I thought when i heard LCD for the first time was how much they sounded like Talking heads but with more synths, and how much Murphy's singing style resembles David Byrne

David said in his American Utopia show that he was surprised by the difference in tone and emotion between his original angst-y version and the happy and excited version sung by the young chorus in Detroit.
Trouble is that's reality for many. Real problem
