Throwing a shallow bowl on the pottery wheel

Taking my time to throw a bowl at the studio using 2.5lbs of stoneware clay. The clay was firmer and than I'd like so it took several passes to compress it before forming the wall.

This was just what I needed to watch. Thankyou. In adult education classes, I wanted to throw a bowl and wasn't sure 2 1/2lb of clay would be enough, but this video was perfect, weight, shape everything. Now have saved your video for reference next time my class is on. 😁
