Syncopation has been one of my favorite Pulse Rifles in Destiny 2, especially when it is combined with the Trespasser Exotic Sidearm. I thought I would take this iconic loadout for a spin in today's meta and found out an unfortunate truth about my Pulse Rifle... Enjoy!

That last trials match is exactly why I don't play trials in the first place from having bad teammates to sweaty players, everything that could've been wrong went wrong. It's not fun to get curb stomped by sweaty players when you're so close to lighthouse or on any part of the card.
not having SBMM on Trials but iron banner is so fucking sad. Such a unfun game when it comes to PvP

The only advantage that i can think of a 390s is better stats especially in stability, which most 340s struggle with. However, 340s can secure a kill in 2-burst consistently without buffs within effective range
Jake, just 2 surges will allow synco and all other 390s to 2 burst at t9 resil and below. Huge shift in ttk for such a small increase in dmg
Radiant can two burst all resilience. Needing an orb limits the use of surges in trials. Best used with acrobat dodge and frostees.
@@sinofwrath698 def don’t need an orb for surges, just wanted to point out that 2 surges which is a 4.5% dmg buff shifts the ttk by a lot. So like x1 of swash or adrenaline junkie also work.
@@sinofwrath698 better combo than acrobat and frostees imo is hoarfrost on stasis titan. Casting class ability generates 5 crystals, break them for 5 shards which gives 50% melee charge and frost armor and with elemental charge and two surges on your boots, you get damage resist (10%) and a two bursting 390. Easiest duels. Not even 140 handcannons 3 headshot.

390s are solid. But 340s are better if you can secure the 2 burst. But I'm a big fan of the 390s
Agreed. 390s are great, some better than top tier high impacts. With the smallest damage buff (like 2 surges), it can two burst with better forgiveness on a follow up burst. I personally play with synco or last perdition on behemoth with tectonic harvest so I just make crystals with hoarfrost, get a few surges going and frost armor which is pretty nice actually.
Seeing the sentinel use eriana’s in pvp makes me want to use it.
Trying to buy a really great controller for pc, wired/wireless and good for competing in pvp. Any suggestions?
Any controller is good, but the play station 4 controller is special cuz you can use the “non-cheating” software which you can configure it to be more responsive, add macros and modify dead zones to increase the stickiness of the game.
Or you can just buy a xim/cronuz with any controller and you’re good for pvp!

To be honest this was mostly sidearm i dont think you duelled much with it, i have a roll with 4K on it but i stick to messenger i just dont think it can compete in 3s
I love the look of trials but don’t have anyone to play with. I used to be ok at pvp four years ago but I suck now. Can I play solo.

Jake you should try those weapons with mask of Bakris then when you dodge you get x2 buff to stasis and arc weapons

Jake, why are you so toxic to Buincey? Am I missing some kind of beef? they just seem to play the game differently, and that to me doesn't constitute shitting on him or his team on stream. If your team shits on you for the way you want to play the game then who's the toxic one? I'd say it's those telling you how to play the game. It's very reminiscent of D1 VOG gatekeeping, only you're D2 trialskeeping. Relax, it's a game and people are allowed to be better than you. That's just how life works.

390s are good in sixes but 340s are better for threes
390s are certainly better in 6s, but I believe they are competitive with 340s in threes. Just lacking range really.

I think I watched the same video from @Buincey. It's interesting to see the perspective from @Buincey and his thought process during his game play then to watch jake's perspective and bitch about it when he gets outplayed. @Buincey congratulates good plays and Jake just...is jake. The huge contrast in behavior really shows the difference in maturity. It's very entertaining.

Syncho has such good stability already, use headstone instead of headseeker to block off revives.
headseeker helps with aim assist and precision damage after body shots. It’s far more useful than headstone
