they definitely took the elevator, because this was filmed in NewYork when Kirstin broke her ankle and had a scooter. That´s why you can't see her legs.
@@alan-freeman If it was filmed in the summer before it was released, that was before Kirstie broke her ankle, which was around Halloween. While I don't doubt that the audio was recorded several months before the video was released (Dec. 2018), the video may well have been filmed much closer to the actual release date - that's often the case, since they're lip-synching to the studio version of the song in the video. But you may well be correct about the snow regardless of when it was filmed - fake snow is not unknown in a PTX video, LOL!
I think this was filmed before she broke her ankle, since she was in kinky boot when she lived in NYC (she couldn't do the broadway with broken ankle).
So I was there on location when they filmed this. I was the person who puts on Kirsten's red lipstick for this video. They didn't take an elevator or stairs even believe it or not they all took a sip of " Fizzy Lifting Drink" and they gracefully floated all they way up. It was crazy.
That's the point Kelly, some people will hate it and they don't hesitate to tell me😂 but for the people like yourself that enjoy it, that's what matters 😀
This is a fav of mine!! Love PTX, but yes underrated. They do have an evolution of PTX out there!! LOL. No definitely not criminal!!! DOOOOOO ITTTTT!!! LOL.
At this point, Pentatonix probably had people to carry and set up equipment for them, but I've heard them talk about the early days when they would carry lighting and recording equipment and really heavy generators out into the woods to record videos when they couldn't afford a studio.
Sam I love your Christmas sweaters and your Christmas spirit 🥰 Geoff Castellucci just released his take on an old Christmas classic “Carol of the Bells” and surprisingly I loved it! I think you would like it ☃️🎄✌🏻🫶🏻
🎄 I agree with you Sam. It is underrated. These harmonies give me goosebumps I will be here enjoying all your reactions through Christmas. I know you have many songs to get through, but I do hope you can find the time for "Music Box Blues" from Trans Siberian Orchestra. 🎀🎀🎀🎁🎀🎀🎀
They have numerous Christmas albums. And even a Grinch one! And here's an animated one you will enjoy! Love your reactions. th-cam.com/video/Evt3PWx57WY/w-d-xo.html
There was a pop version of this written for Mariah Carey to sing in the Grinch soundtrack, but due to legal problems country singer Faith Hill recorded it instead and had a hit with it. From what I've seen, people either love the song or find it annoying.
I understand the guys went to New York to see Kirstie in the show Kinky Boots. They recorded this on top of her apartment building.
Interesting thanks so much👍🏼
A stunning cover of this amazing song. Mitch has this tone… they all sound amazing, but Mitch just has that extra special something!
Definitely does in this one! Thanks for watching
I really love this version of the song. They're so good!!!
They’re incredibly good! Great version of the song. Thanks for watching👍🏼

Haha that’s amazing I knew someone would know!! Thanks😂
And. The snow is fake. This would have been filmed in the summer!

That's correct specifically for Carol of the Bells
That’s what it’s all about, hard work pays off😀
This is one of my favorites by them, yes underated,
Underated!! 100%. The vocals here have to be one of their best!
This is actually in my top five PTX Christmas songs. I love it!

Have you done PTX "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch"???
If not, DO IT NEXT!!!!
❤😂
I haven’t! I’ll add that to the list, cheers👍🏼
Glad u enjoyed this video. Check out 90s Dance Marley to boogie in the New Year.
Recommend their cover of The Prayer.
I love your reactions!! If you like this song, I think you might really also enjoy Voctave's version of it. I won't link it but it is easy to find.
Thanks so much😀 I’ve never heard of them I’ll definitely check them out! Thanks

You need to listen to their cover of "The Grinch" - it's fantastic. There is an animated Grinch movie from 2018 that features some Pentatonix songs.
I’ll take a look thank you😀
How about the song from their new Netfilx movie "Meet me Next Christmas"
What’s the song called Alan? Is it literally meet me next Christmas?
@@Sam_TB Yes. th-cam.com/video/k8c6Re3EzZM/w-d-xo.html

This was good but Voctave has a version that even better find it

I for one am glad that happened😂
