Same. For vocals, I run record them through Audacity first along with raw harmonies and then take what I have there and run it through Bandlab these days for any of the missing VSTs and for a bit more of that studio pop. Add extra harmonies/adlibs to help bring my vocals to the forefront a bit more. It's not necessary always though depending on the track and the time/effort willing to put in. Fucking masterpiece the most based cover ever edit: also i actually prefer this one since i like the fact that drums drown the piano a bit but not too much like i much prefer the mixing that is here it gives it the same effect of decreasing the quality like the fade effect in the begging, almost or certainty giving intricate detail that the original didn't have or it might be the audacity effect literally or even the drum sample itself gives such effect or combination of all of the above. also i am literally addicted to this cover since i use it to do assignments, oh yeah by the way thank you for such a banger cover once again! 1:00 for some reason this little sequence of chops sounds particularly awesome with the more heavy amen also, great remake, especially considering that audacity is NOT a proper daw by any metric
