  • If you're stepping down from a Beneteau 55 Sense or a Prestige 50 or any other larger yacht then watch this video. From what I saw this Jeanneau DB43 is designed for those of you who have got used to the luxury lunching space on your 50+ft boat but you want something that's more manageable in size but retains super amazing entertaining space and a connection with the water.

This is just a walkthrough video and at this time no plans to test drive so hope it provides you with some value in the meantime.
    Enjoy,

Oh Dan, you are so Australian… your comment “you could smuggle people in this” [referring to the anchor locker]. From a European point of view priceless, but rather too close to a painful truth that the channel is experiencing.
Keep up the good work, remember your world wide audience and god bless Australia 🤓🤓

Whoops have I been non PC again...? I didn't even know you were having issues in the channel? The Fairline guys said I need to watch what I say around British people as they are more PC than me.
I don't read from a script so prefer to just say whatever I'm seeing and experiencing in these videos and bring you guys along with me. I'll try to pay attention to some more international news so I don't accidentally push peoples buttons in the UK as I've already annoyed a few of them with safety lanyards on another video.
I feel like the solution to all this PS stuff is just everyone going boating more often so we're all more relaxed. It works great for me.

Thanks 🙏 hopefully I’ll get an opportunity to drive the DB43 soon as my normal videos are more informative after I’ve driven them 👍🚤

I found this one as the best among the med style day boats like Pardo, Vanquish, Fjord, Wally, Sunreef… awesome plan, details.. only thing I didnt like is the front handrails.. apparently they did it in order to evaluate the sun deck walkway and expand the cabins. i d prefer the smaller cabins but lower walkway and minimalist front without the rails

Love your videos, our family is taking delivery of a Jeanneau 1295 in California this June - if you find yourself in Cali I’d love to let you come and make a video on a new boat to the market

Thanks Jack, I might just take you up on that. Small chance I may test the 1295 in France next month but if I don't and find myself in Cali then that could be an amazing video! Appreciate the thought.

So Dan, this is ideal for Sydney Harbour day boating for sure. The question I have is can the main deck be enclosed with plastics for lock-up at the dock to stop foul weather coming in and also what would be the circa price in AUD, are we around the 1.4m mark?

Yes I agree. This boat with a gyro on the harbour for long lunches is ideal! Yep i specifically checked that and they said that clears are an option to fully enclose the boat. This boat didn't have that option so i can't tell you what it looked like. Pricing was low $1M AUD depending on options from what I understand but best to check with MW Marine

meh. just get a $5,000 pontoon boat and have a better time. these things are docked 99% of the time
