I really like Loon stackers and I’ve been slowly replacing various tools with their lineup over time. Enjoy your videos and being from the eastern Ozarks I like how versatile your patterns can be.
I appreciate all the info you give started fly fishing and tying rather recently and found you when I was looking for info on fly fishing in my beloved Ozarks.
I am sort of new to tying and I have learned a lot from your videos. I am bad about watching videos without signing in. I thought this would be a good time to sub and to thank you for the effort and quality you put in your videos. Keep up the good work, thanks!
Love the cutter! Been using one I got from a sewing store, but it always gets lost on my bench ! lol That big yellow handle will make it stand out in my pile of stuff !!
About the scissors cutting & pushing hair absolutely truth, i stopped buying the cheap tools & now I use Loon also!!! That cutter tools I'm gonna have to get, thanks for the video & your demo on how to process with the product. Thx
I use my D-Loop tweezers so much, but they are very big for small nymph work. Really excited about smaller sizes, especially for CDC work! Can't wait for your CDC video!
I totally agree! For the most part, I make pretty large dubbing loops so the big tweezers work well.....but when I want to size down the big tweezers are too much.
Hi Brian! Man those thread cutters are so awsome! Loon should give you a sales fee right now because I for one am sold! This the disabled guy from California who fishes flies on spinning gear and I have nerve damage in my hands from having to have two carple tunnel surgeries over the years so these will make my tying much easier! Thanks Brian! I'll tell them you sent me! Tight lines!
I’ve been waiting for that smaller angled tweezer forever! I do a lot of marabou collars and that is the perfect size and the angle to make it so much easier to cut the stem off clean so I can get 2 collars out of 1 feather instead of mutilating the other half trying to cut flat alongside the jaws.
Good call. The only thing is, I have found my thread wants to slide off before it cuts.....In my opinion, they couldn't make it quite sharp enough because if would have been a hazard. But you are 100% right, there is a thread cutter on the Loon Whip Finish tool.
Picked up the large dubbing tweezer last winter and I think it's awesome! I have plans to gradually replace my older tools with Loon Outdoors products.
Great questions! You may have seen it, but watch this portion of the video, it will show you how smooth they spin: th-cam.com/video/etwYXBShMKk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ROejya656MeOw0mL&t=394 They are super smooth. The Cutter is actually a tweaked edge beveler used in leatherwork. The "blade" seems super durable and absolutely can be sharpened (if you know how to do it correctly.) I have cut GSP, hackle stems, sili-legs, etc, and it does really well. It does take a little bit of getting used to, but once you get the angles down....it is pretty cool.
I bought several special tools loon. Nice look, good ergonomics, but the hardness of the blades could be improved. I miss the scissors, wire cutters and v-blade. TNX ! 😁 👍
I have a few Loon tools already, like the ergo dubbing brush and ergo regular bobbin, that I really like. I'm intrigued by the angled tweezers and the cutter. I wonder how well it cuts GSP.
Hey again Brian! Man what a bummer...I already have the new thread cutter and the Ergo bobbon so if I win, I guess Ill just have to gift them to someone!

Haha I appreciate the shout-out! Yes, I would definitely use this to put the hook in the vise 😂
I find you advice about tying and tools very helpful! I watch all the time for tips and tricks! Please put me in for the drawing!
Love them all. ❤❤
Really digging those tweezers and the cutting tools. Thanks for the product spotlight!
I love that cutter! It is very cool! I like the ergo bobbin too! Loon makes the coolest stuff!
Good ergonomics are required at my age (70). Love the new Loon line! Thanks for sharing your input.
Loon makes great tools! Thanks for the videos
I appreciate all the info you give started fly fishing and tying rather recently and found you when I was looking for info on fly fishing in my beloved Ozarks.
Love that beefed up tensioned bobbin!

I purchased Loon tools when I started tying and never regretted it. Great quality.
Great to hear!
Several of those would be great for these arthritic hands. Good Ergonomics are required as you age. Thanks for sharing!
Winters coming = fly tying season = new tools!!!!
Excited to try the bobbin and cutter. The tweezers look great as well. Thanks for the review
I ❤ those tweezers
They are really well thought out.

It's such a cool idea.
Love the bobbin holder and use the D loop tweezers for all my dubbing loops. Excited to get the new set of D Loop tweezers. Love the angle and size.
I love this video❤
My grandmother had one of those cutters in her sewing kit, I had never thought of using it for thing.
well thought out tools!
Loon tools are some of my favorite tools. The yellow makes them easy to see on my bench.
I like the flat black SO MUCH......but it 'can' get lost in the mix.
Just wanted to say thanks for giving me more Loon tools to buy. Puts off retirement another year 😂😂
About the scissors cutting & pushing hair absolutely truth, i stopped buying the cheap tools & now I use Loon also!!! That cutter tools I'm gonna have to get, thanks for the video & your demo on how to process with the product. Thx
Loon's on the cutting edge of tying tools.
I was thinking about _tiesflies_ aswell XD
Love that “V” cutter. Great idea!
I like the little stuff!
I am getting more into fly tieing and those tools will come in clutch.
Awesome!!
Ha! I've been using that wire for years. First time I see someone else using it and of course it's YOU. Good stuff Brian!
It's the best....and doesn't break the bank!
Loon tools are incredible. They just feel so good in your hand!
Totally agree!
Love the new loon line!!
Awesome I also enjoy loons products!! And your vids

Greetings from Denmark, I love your videos and Loon tools, both are amazing.
Thank you very much!
That thread cutter looks awesome. Keep the good stuff coming buddy.
Thanks, will do!
Cool tools
Love to try the tweezers on a dubbing loop. Looks a lot more effective than my old chip clip!
Chip clips work pretty well! I would say these tweezers would last for generations though.
The tweezers are also really cool.
killer video all round u do well with this product spt lights love them keep up the good work carnt wait for the next
They are very cool in black
Enjoy all the loon products I have
Great vid!! I’ve been using the “giant” loons tweezer and it’s way more than I need. The smaller angled tweezer is perfect.
I totally agree! For the most part, I make pretty large dubbing loops so the big tweezers work well.....but when I want to size down the big tweezers are too much.
Gear guys love these videos.
Enjoyed the review, nice look at the new loon tools
Pretty good video. Tools are expensive but you get what you pay for. I’d love to get those scissors for sure!
Love all the new tools! Loon knocking it out of the park.
100%
The tweezer set looks great!!!
I think that set is probably the MVP of the new tools.
Those look fantastic!
They are!
Cool tools,I am leaning towards tweezers and scissors. Thanks for the New products info Brian.
Thanks for watching!!
The tweezer kit looks sweet

Awesome! Thanks!
I picked up Loon’s core tool set when I started tying and they’re holding up great.
Those tweezers really look like they would be very useful for all types of tying.
I think so too!
Man, id love to have those Tweezers. Just wanted to do a couple of Ned Rig Flys and thats exactly what i need for the dubbing loops 😅
Great video Thanks Brian. Loon makes some great tools I'm going to have to get myself one of those thread cutters.
They are pretty cool!
Cool fly tying tools from Loon now I’m not enjoying so much what I have anymore tying flies. 🧑🌾🤟🎣🐟
Those tweezers look cool, and I like the thread cutters. To be honest, I have a bobbin addiction . So thank you for making me spend money.... lol
Glad I can help! :)
Need that back bobbin
I like that cutter!
Right?!?!
Another great spotlight video, thanks for sharing.
I think 🤔 the Loon Outdoors is a great fit with Brian Wise as an Ambassador.
Those are some nice looking tools.
That cutter would be awesome to have.

Right! The angle makes the whole thing easier!
Hi all...There is a thread cutter on the bottom of the loon whip finisher which is excellent.
Good call. The only thing is, I have found my thread wants to slide off before it cuts.....In my opinion, they couldn't make it quite sharp enough because if would have been a hazard. But you are 100% right, there is a thread cutter on the Loon Whip Finish tool.

Awesome tools!
I think so too!
Good info!
Thanks!
Looooon
Great seeing that you showed love to Joe "Sgt. Bass Fisher."
Brian, I need another Loon tool!
I love the Loon ergo tools. They are the only ones I find that fit my meat hands. I've got to get one of those bobbins.
I love how you don’t bs anyone about the bobbins. I need to try one though
I'm still not the biggest fan of this style of bobbin........it's probably the old school dude in me.
Welp, I know what’s going on my Christmas list this year.
I have been using a cutter like this last on for years. I got it in a pharmacy in the nail department. 😅
Been thinking about getting the swiss cdc clip. May have to look at those tweezers now.
Those are some great tools! Definitely be adding them to my next fly tying order.
Pick me! Pick me!😂

Brian, great tools from loon.
P.S. Lady Bugs are great predators for the garden. They will destroy aphids.
I like the yellow, but fushia would have me buying a full set of everything!
I have one loon product it's a whip finisher and I love it.
I don't have any Loon products but they look great.
Need that black bobbin please lol
Nice😉☕️☕️
I have a few Loon tools already, like the ergo dubbing brush and ergo regular bobbin, that I really like. I'm intrigued by the angled tweezers and the cutter. I wonder how well it cuts GSP.
I actually meant to show the cutter cutting GSP....it works really well.
The vape was really kicking in during the wirecutter review. The vid just kept getting better and better.
