    This turned out so beautiful! I know it’s been a while but if you work backwards with your colors you’ll get that print on the front.
    Make your base color last instead of first. But I love it!

    Beautiful!!!
    Next time make sure your table is leveled so the paint doesn't start running to one side prematurely.
    But I like it, congrats!!!

    Wow! So beautiful ♡ When you're doing these you should have maybe a canvas piece under to catch the drips to see what it makes ;) how are you getting the cells??
    Also white is heavier then all other colors so it goes to the bottom

    • @CarlyKeller
      @CarlyKeller  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a great idea! The floetrol creates all the tiny bubbles and cells!

    I believe white paint is heavier than other colours so will sink to the bottom. I recall an artist I follow on fb saying that on one of her videos.

    • @CarlyKeller
      @CarlyKeller  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That makes perfect sense! I’m not a pro so tips are appreciated 😊 maybe next time I’ll dilute the white more or not use as much

      @@CarlyKeller I'm no pro either but if you check out mixedmediagirl she has lots of great tips and advice videos. She does all sorts of different pours. What you did looks amazing though. I've been watching a few of your videos and your stuff is awesome. 👏

  • @thismomof5

    Would it work layering the darker colors first? That way your smooth side would have more of the color?

    • @CarlyKeller
      @CarlyKeller  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just starting to play around with these pours but did realize the white paint is heavier! So may have to try the darker ones first, next time :)

    • @CarlyKeller
      @CarlyKeller  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      TY! It needs to be clear. The one in the tutorial is clear but has a white protective layer on one side to protect it :)

    Awesome video! Do you think I can use this technique on wood and with an epoxy resin on top, just wondering if it will cure properly or any suggestions you may have?

    • @CarlyKeller
      @CarlyKeller  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Akua! Yes, I think that technique will work with plenty of time between each layer to dry 👌

  • @widalizvega3872
    @widalizvega3872 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I was wondering if it would be possible to kind of stick the vinyl underneath the top acrylic but mirrored so that the vinyl would stay more permanently?

    • @CarlyKeller
      @CarlyKeller  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sure you could! Although the vinyl wont have any issues on top of the acrylic

    So does the float additive dry clear? I would've thought that the black was going to become real light grey

    • @CarlyKeller
      @CarlyKeller  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It lightens the paint some while mixing (before the pour), so can darken it then if needed!

    If you are reusing the acrylic how do you remove the vinyl ?

    • @CarlyKeller

      Just peel off the vinyl with tweezers! Its the same material car decals (good ones) are made from and can be removed without leaving residue.
