    i bought this guitar before christmas for 30 dollars at GC because the neck was broken, then i sent it to parkwood and had the neck repaired for free so i basically got it for 30 dollars. It's an awesome guitar, I love it, im going to use it for my school's jazz band's performance next week!

    ...and then he ends it all with a typical Greg Howe solo that many try to emulate but can never equal.....absolutely soulful and singing...he is truly gifted.

    I just bought a Parkwood Hybrid H2
    and the tone is so dripping sweet,
    not to mention the versatility.
    It sounds just like this video with
    my VOX Tonelab LE.
    I was suprised to get some hard rock/metal
    tones as well. smooth neck.

    It has one output jack but its TRS so you can use a stereo 1/4 inch cable and split the acoustic signal to where you would like. Excellent!

    Damn...not only is Greg the perennial shredder of our day, but he is one hell of an articulate salesman. He explained this guitar and demo'd it better than most sales people at NAMM ever could. Most excellent!

    lol why does people give this comment a thumb down? It is true! Why else would Parkwood be such a small brand on the electric market? I bet not 1 out of 100 users, who says this guitar is amazing, is REALLY gonna buy one.
    By the way, I don't think this guitar does any of the sound amazingly good. It is the guitarist, that makes it sound fantastic. Just my opinion.

    Parkwood is a Guitar Center only brand. Their parent company is Cort, who's well known. Unfortunately, Parkwood guitars are made in Korea and this is why most people won't buy them even though they play amazingly well and have great tones.

    Have you ever sat down to play a Parkwood? I know that it is a Guitar Center only brand, but my GOT... they all play incredibly and sound just as good. Sorry to see GC drop the line however :(

    that tele is sick.... I wonder why fender shys away from 24 fret necks so much...

    • @scirasco1
      @scirasco1 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      its called tele in disguise its custum made and is essentially a hm strat in tele format i love this one!!!!

    • @mikedegroff7766
      @mikedegroff7766 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats an awesome name! I wish I could find a video of him playing it, I would love to hear it! I don't believe Fender will do a non-baritone 24 fret neck for many except for big bill artists and people with MUCH deeper pockets than I. I do seem to remember not that long ago Mr. Howe was pictured with a Suhr Standard similar to the Strat behind him here. IIRC he had asked John Suhr about making a 24 fret model, as this was prior to the Modern being released. I wonder if Suhr would craft a guitar similar to this without sizable upcharge? I believe their 24 fret neck is only really offered with the Modern body profile because of the unique heel geometry. Considering the recent release of the Classic TS tough, how difficult would it be to either adapt the access heel to that platform or add 2 frets and a slightly deeper cutaway to the classic T?

      greg played suhr and peavey very briefly laguna guitar is a great guitar for its value only really needs the real tremolo now it looks like greg might start endorsing carvin:)

    • @mikedegroff7766
      @mikedegroff7766 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have never tried a Laguna, but I've played several Carvin guitars. Carvin make super nice quality guitars, save the type of Wilkinson trem they use. I don't much care for their pickups either but thats really personal preference. I like the tones he gets out of his signature DV Mark amps recently!

  • @gbrown4x4
    @gbrown4x4 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    Exactly...Soldano88 I'm sure those are really good quality guitars but with a player like Greg.....it could be a rubber band and spoons and he'd sound incredible......LOL
    but it's all good...........

    the problem is the guitar company gives the artist one of their best guitars expensive ones to show off..then when it comes to the cheap thery'r really cheAP guitars
