Haha thanks Dave. Ever since my brother got into it, then me afterwards, I haven't been able stop noticing the human achievement with this footwear haha. Cowboy boots are just so well designed!

I may even find some inspiration to name a pair with any name associated with Deadwood as I have been fascinated by that town when the gold rush of 1776 started and the TV show is awesome too so I might be thinking long and hard today about which boots to name after which gun slinger lol
Dingo and Frye brands are popular cowboy boots with wooden stacked up high heels from 1981 to 1986, and many young men do wear them. They came in two colors and they are banana (tan), and russet (reddish brown), it featured moderate pointed toe. Today they are vintage cowboy boots and they are hard to find. Collectors are saving these cowboy boots regardless what condition they are in, even if there are in fair condition, with a lot of wear.
Dude love watching your videos!!! Moved to Dallas from Oakland couple years ago and just got into wearing boots recently and love wearing boots now and the culture behind it. Currently wearing two pair of Twisted X square toe western boots and loving them.
My Finnish jackboots came with a sag in the shafts that isn't very severe but they were well used before I got them but when you wear them it isn't evident. However, when you wear them with trousers inside the shaft as they were designed you do not see it at all. My Finnish wool trousers actually came with stirrups to keep them down in your boots. I was in my 20’s and they were a pair of Tony Lamas that were given to me in very good condition by someone I did not even know very well but he must have figured they would fit me and they did! Don’t remember why he was giving them away but I’m glad he did. I live in Minnesota and wore them in all seasons. They also served as motorcycle boots. Definitely multi-purpose footwear. I didn’t do a lot to take care of them and eventually the uppers got a bit cracked and the leather was breaking down. Now I’m almost 60 and it’s time for a new pair of shoes. That's awesome! I've had a pair of Laredo's for about two years (being 17, I haven't had much experience yet), but am planning on replacing them with some Tecova's. I honestly can't wait. Yes, Jeremiah, we are friends. Boots are the best, and do look great!
Thanks Paul! Wow you'll have to share a pic of your new Tecovas when you get them on the FB group. I can understand your excitement. They make some cool boots
Good morning J & B, I am totally obsessed with finding my first pair of Lucchese boots. But there’s so much information out there I am getting confused. Did Lucchesi come out with different levels of boots? For example, silver, gold, etc…? It looks like Lucchesi sells their boots at Walmart?! Is this for real? I’ve also noticed that some boots have the lemon with pegs and some don’t (womens boots). Can you give me some tips on what I should be looking for. I appreciate your help.
Lucchese does have different levels. Lucchese 2000 was their budget boots option that they discontinued. 1883s were next level up but I think that line has been replaced with the Bootmaker line which many models are made in Mexico. Their Classic line is the next level above that made in the US. Looks like Walmart sells some Bootmaker line boots. The lemonwood pegs aren't completely necessary when there's a full welt and the bootmaker line is still pretty awesome. I have videos on all of these below Lucchese 2000: th-cam.com/video/j_UOYBKLRFU/w-d-xo.html Lucchese 1883: th-cam.com/video/8P4O399C_G4/w-d-xo.html Lucchese Bootmaker: th-cam.com/video/Izkl2KppnaY/w-d-xo.html Lucchese Classic: th-cam.com/video/AGX-js1n9Nc/w-d-xo.html At some point I'll try to make a video comparing all of them but I don't think I'll be able to anytime soon.
Hey Jeremiah I like the look of these boots and I'd possibly like to buy a pair, I was wondering if you knew the exact name of this pair of boots? Love the videos!
My uncle gave me an old pair of noconas he’s had for 30 years because arthritis makes it to where he can’t wear them anymore. They need resoled soon but are absolutely comfortable and continue to hold up well to farm work, town and city streets, and occasionally I wear them to my day job as an aircraft mechanic. I honestly just call them old timers lol.
I got a pair that I've had for about a year and they are a ropper from Durango. Call them old faithful. My buddies told me to pich them when the sole came off but can't part with them. Don't even own tennis shoes anymore.
I learned buy your boots nice and tight, measure your feet to find out your size on a size chart and go 1/2 size smaller. I also hate loose fiting boots though, i hear some people like them loose but i like mine tight and this way they form to your feet like a custom made pair. I found this out by buying a pair too small but they ended up being the best fit ever.
Really cool! Love it! I have a pair of cowboy boots I named Sam. They are so comfy and on a tile floor they slide like a knife through butter. I hope that the Adam boots are good still?
Bro my first pair of boots are the same boots I wear 6 years later because it’s hard to find boots that last wear wear I live the hot beach doesn’t fit with the shoes/boots I want
I really do own a pair of harness boots in black; without a doubt I'll have my charcoal mellowed Daniel's the next weekend and I'll be naming them JACK...
I had a pair of Tony Lama Elephant Ear boots that I wore everywhere for 15+ years they were my favorite but after having them resoled 9 times they were too small for my feet. They were my favorite boots ever
No they were too small every time you have a pair of boots resoled you loose a little in size and my feet did grow partly due to a car wreck that resulted in 5 pins in my right foot which is now larger than my left foot. I gave them to my little brother and they sit in my parents garage for a while and they got put in the trash ( we are talking 20 years ago) I wish I could afford another pair of elephant but they are hard to find and too expensive in very limited sizes.
Years ago I had a great pair of light brown boots - more or less lived in them. I was wearing those boots while I was helping a friend rebuild his car’s engine, and we’d nearly finished the job. The oil had been drained, and we were filling up with fresh oil - hey, this engine is taking a lot of oil... it was running out the sump all over my left boot... someone hadn’t put the drain plug back in... those boots never looked like a pair again. 😕
No, I do not name my boots. I do, however, have a deep affection for certain pairs. Boulet was my gateway boot brand too (still on them) Oil tanned burgundy western round toe. Comfort right out of the box, wore like iron forever. Resoled them twice. I lIke Frye boots too.
Hi Jeremiah! First excuse my poor English cause I'm french speaking from Québec (Canada) and I live about an hour from St-Tite where Boulet boots are made. Personnaly, I own two pairs of Boulet cowboy boots and I've bought my first pair 30 years ago. Now I've a nice cowboy boots collection (many Tony Lama) but my favorite pair is Sendra boots from Spain. I suggest you that you send your vid to www.bouletboots.com. I'm pretty sure that they will appreciate your experience with their boots.
I've had a pair of Justin cowboy boots and they were rubber heal and I have weared them for 4 years through highschool theen after I decided to get a job at Texas Roadhouse as a busboy and while being new to the job Ive always seen people always wearing rubber heal cowboy boots to work mostly servers and managers cuz they would get dirty easily. So out of the audacity I had to use mine cuz I thought I would look good wearing my boots at work to give a representable look for my job but jokes on cuz my dumbass would be mucking basically putting dishes away at the muck station where dishwashers would wash dishes and sometimes my boots would get soapy water on them cuz the dishwashers would basically throw soapy on the floor towards me so that way could clean the floors but they would warn me of course but I didn't mind only because I didn't wanna get backed up on buckets full of dishes. Then after a year the soles peeled off and I was majorly sad that I ruined them.Until a year later my mom bought me some all black leather , leather outsoled Cody James boots and they were the best gift my mom could ever give me and if I could get name my old boots something I would name them my Justin boots no to showy not to cliche just good enough to wear on any occasion
For christmas I got a pair of Ariat rambler renegade boots, and they're made in china unfortunately. I have to wear sock logs just to get them to fit right, and have to put a toe insert because of the stretch and all that. But that does not make them a bad pair of cowboy boots. I don't think people start to realize how durable these things can be in different situations in life. Those things are just cool looking for one, because its got a phoneix on the top, and they're black boots! You cannot go wrong with black boots! These things have gotten broken in since then! These are a lot more forgiving then I thought they'd be. Whether when it was in my first car accident in the rain, or the time I to use a ghetto method of shrinking by soaking them in hot water and instead ended wearing out my leather, and took a little bit of the dye out (which actually doesn't look that bad to be honest with you) Or from times I went for a run and gave the rubber around it white from that drag across the road, they're just like ok! You can't hurt these boots feelings ya know? Haha Its like, "nah fam, you're good! I'm still here for ya partner! I enjoy our walks together!" These boots have been there for me! And I just can't say enough of how amazing they are!
Well my first pair of cowboy boots was from Red wing boot company,it had a cool diamondback tread on the rubber soles but they always slipped on the heel.I went back to red wing store and all they suggested was putting in another arch support but I quit wearing them after I damn near twisted my ankle to a fracture from slipping heel. Bottom line make sure your foot stays in that damn boot because slipping heels is not fun when injury comes.
How weird. My names Adam. I just checked this video as I'm wanting to get my first pair of boots and whether it's a good idea. I take your boots name as a sign 😆
My first pair of boots were Justin boots I got in 1981. I wore them every single day and they were fantastic boots. One morning I went to put them on and found my pit bull puppy had chewed the toe off of one of them. I was devastated. If he hadn’t Estonian them I might still have them today.
A bit much got 3o pair ther called shit kickers I like my boos and have had about 60 or more pair you are a little much with your boots I used to go through. A pair a year if you take care of them they will stand up forever.
Jeremiah Craig I just use mink oil. But yeah, I definitely recommend it. I mean, it’s leather, of course it’s going to dry out. I think it’ll make them last at least a little longer. Just gotta’ make sure you give them a good brushing first, & be careful walking for a little while afterwards!
But conditioning would also make it softer and potentially wear down faster. That's my only concern with it so I've never tried. Also I'd rather not slip around until it dries haha. I might try it someday though when I have a good opportunity to
Jeremiah Craig I have an idea. Not really scientific, but I’ll continue to condition my newest ones, & whenever it’s time to get them resoled, We can compare the condition of yours, & see how which ones hold up longer. 🤷🏻♂️ Edit: Maybe a good video idea in the future.
Hi, here in Brazil, boots are objects with female genus, so to give men names to them seams wierd to me. I really love my cowboy boots they are very hot, so, i decided to look for female names that matchs with this feelings and also due to the fact that I trate both boots like girlfriends, they must have female names indee. So, I decided to call the left as Cindy and the right as Jessy. Boots were not made just for walking
If I had a pair of go-to cowboy boots that had been through as much as yours, I'd name them Bo and Luke.. the Boots of Hazard.
Hahaha that's perfect! Love it
Boots tell our story! Those of us who have chosen boots as our footwear of choice know what it means. They define us. My grandkids love to see my boots set by the fireplace, waiting for me to put them on to go outside. They are something my grandkids will always remember about me.

You crack me up! Love your passion for boots! I was looking at that same brand in Harness boots, which I also like a lot.

Naming boots is a bit odd since there's two of them. I'll name my guns and guitars but boots are just boots lol
I hear that! 👍
@Altitude1 right
Just picked up a pair of burgundy boots. Never thought of naming them, but you inspired me. They will now and forever be known as my "Ronnie's" ....
Dude love watching your videos!!! Moved to Dallas from Oakland couple years ago and just got into wearing boots recently and love wearing boots now and the culture behind it. Currently wearing two pair of Twisted X square toe western boots and loving them.
Right on bro I moved to memphis from the town a couple years ago and been wearing boots and hats for a minute now

I'm with ya... I can't keep a name for my boots other than the brand or style name. Congrats on your new boots!
I have the same model and I had resole once and probably soon a second time I’m in love with them
They're so easy to fall in love with. Are you part of the company family?
No just the same name
Hi! Have you resoled the soles and the heels? They were well worn?
Resoled 6 times
Hilariously my name is craig jeremiah

Then after a year the soles peeled off and I was majorly sad that I ruined them.Until a year later my mom bought me some all black leather , leather outsoled Cody James boots and they were the best gift my mom could ever give me and if I could get name my old boots something I would name them my Justin boots no to showy not to cliche just good enough to wear on any occasion
i love your videos .
Thanks Daniel! More to come!
I say the sag in the shaft gives them character.
Yeah buddy. You know!
Whether when it was in my first car accident in the rain, or the time I to use a ghetto method of shrinking by soaking them in hot water and instead ended wearing out my leather, and took a little bit of the dye out (which actually doesn't look that bad to be honest with you)
Or from times I went for a run and gave the rubber around it white from that drag across the road, they're just like ok! You can't hurt these boots feelings ya know? Haha
Its like, "nah fam, you're good! I'm still here for ya partner! I enjoy our walks together!" These boots have been there for me! And I just can't say enough of how amazing they are!
I just refer to my boots by their brand name lol
That's where I'm at too but who knows maybe I'll be so moved by a pair in the future I'll have to name them.
got my first pair yesterday 🤠
Congrats!! Hope they serve you well!
My chisos number 2 in brushed brown are my "Bollywood Terminators" ,im brown too so 🤷🏽♂️...🤠
Well my first pair of cowboy boots was from Red wing boot company,it had a cool diamondback tread on the rubber soles but they always slipped on the heel.I went back to red wing store and all they suggested was putting in another arch support but I quit wearing them after I damn near twisted my ankle to a fracture from slipping heel. Bottom line make sure your foot stays in that damn boot because slipping heels is not fun when injury comes.
*note made*
You’re such a cool person.
Right back at ya 👍
How weird. My names Adam. I just checked this video as I'm wanting to get my first pair of boots and whether it's a good idea. I take your boots name as a sign 😆
It is a sign and definitely a good idea. Cheers Adam!
So you are city but were cowboy boots
Shot game for the word boot or boots I’ll die plastered
Tell me about it haha. There needs to be a compliation of me just saying boots and it'll last hours haha
I’d name mine Monty cuz they’re made of python skin
My first pair of boots were Justin boots I got in 1981. I wore them every single day and they were fantastic boots. One morning I went to put them on and found my pit bull puppy had chewed the toe off of one of them. I was devastated. If he hadn’t Estonian them I might still have them today.
That's the worst! What a bummer. You'd definitely still have them today had that not happened
Adam. Nice
hahahaha you should bring back the hair man
I think I'll name my boots Margo and Fillory.
I’ll name mine “Pete & Repeat”
I named my first cowboy boots Mary Jane.
haha love it! What were they?
I still have them somewhere, they are a pair of red wings that was gifted to me by a artist at a festival.
Sizing is wayyyy different from tennis shoes!

Best high is always best when wearing your boots but hey it might just be me
A bit much got 3o pair ther called shit kickers I like my boos and have had about 60 or more pair you are a little much with your boots I used to go through. A pair a year if you take care of them they will stand up forever.
Don’t forget to condition your soles!
I've never done that. I've heard mixed things
Edit: Maybe a good video idea in the future.
Are you high?
I can’t remember... I made this video awhile ago... it’s possible... I do live in Seattle
