    Thanks Bobby, you kinda inspiration to me. Back then i heard your sort like podcast about owning a car with Cardock. Live with that philosophy and I work so hard for the couple of years. Owning my dream now car. Will work hard for more!

    I also quit my job into my mid 40s during the lowest ebb of my working life with a family to support. Somehow a job dropped on my lap the following week with a pay that was 70% above what i had into an industry that i TOTALLY had no experience with. The only value i possessed that my new employer sees in me was my technical and service industry experience. They deemed that was sufficient and been with them blissfully into my 8th year now. People, don't be afraid of change. Don't die die look for a certain job because you studied for it. You CAN always LEARN.

    A lot of people know sales as selling, but how to close the deal. Let me share :-
    1. Know your product FAB - F eatures, A dvantages, B enefits. So the features inducing the advantages of using and the benefits of using.
    2. Who’s the decision maker n his/her/them comfort level of talking/communicating
    3. 3Cs - convince, con (speak of all the advantages, benefits nothing negative-it is the buyer’s ownness to dissect into negative aspects; but never allow them to do so. Finally con to close deal ~ promotion period, additional gifts, discount, friends support, grandmother needs milk - thick skin and get the buyer to sign the contract.
    3. Repeat sale call those procrastinating.
    Know that no sales no money no food no nothing.
    After sales then marketing; marketing as :- STP S egmentation, T argeting, P ositioning~ Marco/Micro Environmental Scanning, SWOT analysis then formulate your 4-5Ps.
    Sounds textbook- nope, put to real life applications.
    Do Did Done ~ I Me Mine.
    FAB - concepts/ideology from 3M.

    From a personal experience, my wife and I were earning good income per month. We both then decided to quit our jobs and became entrepreneurs. There were many uncertainties and it was a huge risk. People thought we were crazy. Crazy? Perhaps, but I believe that fortune favours the brave. If you are hungry for it, then you will lift yourself out of your comfort zone and seek ways to attain your dreams. My motto in life is go big or go home. And I hope anyone that is reading this, will also achieve your dream. In our culture, far too often, successful people are unwilling to share their success. But times are different and positivity breeds positivity. Therefore I think it is great that people like Thomas come out to share their own experiences. 👍

    • @BobbyAngmalaysia
      @BobbyAngmalaysia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome sharing! I giess the risk that everyone mentioned, should be calculated risk, and as Thomas said, Responsibled Risk. Meaning you measured the worst outcomes, and you figured the reaponsibilities associated with the worst outcomes and take it up

      @D HJ no, most parents will save for the children in pursue of education. To us education is important, if a parents sacrifice lifestyle, selling things they dont need just to support their child then they are rags. Unless u are talking about kids studying overseas can afford to buy a luxury there, spending lavishly, living the dream
      Then yeah. They are rich. Those parents if they didnt even put effort to support their kids education. To me its a lousy parent.

    6mins into the video and I'm relating to almost everything Thomas went through! Haha, did badly in secondary school, went to get my Diploma in Hotel Management, worked in Shangri la Singapore and then went overseas for my degree and when I got back to Singapore in 2013, went into sales and life changed from there similar to Thomas but of course I still cant own that many cars here in Singapore though :(

If i move to Singapore or Taiwan, i will not be able to compete with you all there, let alone Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and crazy China. I cant think of any modern city where households with combined income of rm5k can have two cars, a house that's 15 minutes to downtown CBD and live happily.
