Hi Anna have you experienced where the humidity in the venue is very different from where you made it. My place was dry but the venue is so humid. How do i adjust my ac tonic then. Some flowers have melted during the event. I love all your tutorials. You have sparked my creativity to the next level❤
Hi, lovely. Yes, absolutely. I always account to the venue being humid, so I make my flowers with that in mind. Especially if it's an outdoor wedding - the weather might be unpredictable. You scroll through my Reels on IG: @FloreaCakes, I've answered this question a few times already, but the short answer - use less glycerin and more corn starch. Hope this helps.
For petals - I look at the texture of the real flower. For example, Icelandic Poppies are very textural and need a veiner, but gardenias or peonies very smooth and I don't have to use a veiner to shape those petals.

Hey Anna. Gorgeous cake 🤩👌 Can I ask where you got the leaf veiner please?
I got it from a sale at out local baking club, so I don't have a link. But CK Products make a similar leaf mold too
@ thank you 🙏
Thank you for sharing, Anna. How do you decide if using a petal vein mold or not?

Got it. Thanks.
