- Today we are making a swimming pool platform for the dogs! I think they are pretty happy with this! When we first had our pool built for the dogs, we had originally wanted a mermaid step installed, but that didn't happen, because of lack of parts and so on. So instead we built the dogs a swimming pool platform! This is dog swimming pool platform round 1!

Wasn't expecting Eleanor to be more of a water dog than Kira, but she loves it! The platform is a great idea, could you weigh the frame down with sand or small stones inside the pipes?
I honestly wasn't expecting it either! But holy cow! Eleanor just LOVES the pool!! I am glad she does. . . she reminds me of how much Shelby loved water. And yes, we could put some stones in the pipes, but the holes will work to let the water drain out, as we won't leave it in the pool when we close it.

I love the new Memphis platform. Eleanor loves that pool. I had a feeling she would when she tried to swim in the water bowl. Indy should come over to build the pool jumping confidence.

Pool noodles on the metal railing sounds great, you should do the whole railing. That way it won't be so hot to the touch.
The platform is amazing Memphis is happy too cute Eleanor is definitely a water dog she's so cute in the pool and kira is adorable too. Pool time fun.

Bought my girls an 8x5x2 foot deep pool. They seem to like it a lot, but also enjoy laying in here on the couches in the a/c

My husky mainly lives in front of our ac vents in the summer unless I get in the pool then he jumps in and refuses to get out. But thank you for the platform idea. I think it will help me to get him in and out of the pool
If you have an old cast iron bath they make a great piece to add to your garden. Fill it with ice and watch them never leave. Aussies do it for our Huskers. Also mix in some frozen treats to keep them occupied.

Jess, toads aren't as strong jumpers as frogs are, they're more walkers than jumpers if there's nothing threatening them.

Yay Memphis!!!! They really loved it!!
Eleanor is such a water pup. I love how she is slowly getting more and more bold. She was timid at first but now she jumps right in and has no fear. Kira is a bit more hesitant but she will eventually go in when it gets too hot outside. Then of course Miss Memphis. She loves to get her feet wet but doesnt like swimming She has her platform so she can cool off too without fully submerging herself. 3 Different levels of adventurousness
