      Thank you, you made my Monday. The ranger is and excellent machine also. My wife really is pleased with the cab, power windows and air. We go for a ride almost every night around our small property. After dinner on our patio she asked if i would take her mother for a property drive...wow that's what i want to hear. Stay healthy and let me know what your purchase.

    I really enjoy watching your videos and love the new intro. As you know I decided to go with the 2021 XMR and finally picked up my new machine yesterday. I was thinking how similar we are in what we buy and the lifestyle we lead. I live on 6 acres, I bought a 3 series JD, X6 M BMW, F350 truck and several BRP products.....we are also very close in age. Your videos are down to earth and practical for viewers. I am also looking to start a channel, which you have provided me inspiration to do so. Keep your videos coming and love your new machine!

    Watched several of your video's, thx Marauder, now that you have a 2020 Defender Limited an oil change will be necessary at some point. There is not a video online I have found to do an oil change on 2020 Can am Defender Limited. HD 10 engine. The engine is cast different than all other Defender HD 10's. The Manual provided does not show the area of location of oil filter for the limited, it's boiler plate of all other Defender's. Make sure you include an extendable magnet in the tool list to change oil. Good Luck, can't wait to see your comments about filter location on your upcoming video (If you do one) Thx again for great video's

    The camo looks sharp!! Nice ride! Is the cab as quiet as they say?
    My buddy had a 2018 General 4. He had nothing but problems with it. Had to replace almost everything but the engine. He bought a Defender 4 seater and really likes it. So far after a summer of riding & work on the ranch it’s held up well. 2 weeks ago I went dirt bike riding on the mountain with my son for his 17th birthday. Long story short I wrecked and broke several bones in my right foot. Longest 25 miles down the mountain I’ve ever experienced! During that ride down I was thinking about a different ride. Something with 4 wheels. Like a Defender 4. But I also want a compact tractor too. 😆 So many decisions. Great channel! If you ever head west to Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone you should plan a little time to ride the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming. We’re halfway between Rushmore & Yellowstone. Guaranteed you’ll see moose!! Fisher’s Off Road did a couple of videos of riding in the Bighorns. Anyway nice review! Enjoy that ride! Cheers! Jason

    Just got the tracks for ice fishing and love my machine and have had no issues .
    To me both Can Am and Polaris have the best closed cabs compared to anything else out there . I guess it’s like trucks your either a Ford or Chevy guy

    How is the fuel economy on these side-by-sides? Compared to a really small car (by USA standards)... Could they be used instead of a car, for driving small distances (20-40 km.)? I know ATV "drinks" relativly much fuel compared to a small car, but is the side-by-sides any better in that regard. The reason I wonder, is because I wonder if a side-by-side such as this, may make a good "car" to use at an older age when it may be more difficult to get into a smaller car / moped car (yes we have those in Europa, slow, tiny cars with what seems to be a moped engine). Such a side by side seems quite easy to get in and out of, and for a single person, who only does a litte bit of grocery shopping at times, this could perhaps be an option rather than a small car that is more cumbersome to get in and out of, is perhaps more expensive to purchase, e.t.c.
    Should make a point of that in my country, Norway, we can drive ATVˋs on the road, by classifying them as a tractor. In nature though we cannot drive them without a spesific business purpose, as not to disturb nature too much.

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jens Petter IkkeOppført I think the mpg would be low on the round the way they are gear...under 25mph may be fine. Rumors are they will follow Honda and have geared transmissions no cvt that could be a game changer. Also they would not meet our country’s crash standards, Canada and some areas of United States allows them on the road, rural areas near trails. Good question let’s keep are fingers crossed 🤞 btw we have small cars here they go in and out of fashion. 🙂

    • @malelonewolf80
      @malelonewolf80 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@maraudermitchelli Yeah, I just never thought of USA having small cars since everything seems to be so big in the USA compared to in Europe. As for road / crash standards, in Norway, ATVˋs is generally limited in what speeds you can drive them at, according to which class you register the ATV as (moped (24,8 mph), tractor (37,2 mph), tractor with ABS brakes (65 mph). Thus the risks in a crash is less, though accidents from oncoming traffic can of course do some serious damage. Thus I always use helmet when riding my ATV on the road (though technically it is not required by law, but safety first).

    Why do Polaris use cheap plastic bushings & replace them with better quality after they are worn out in a year?

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't know. Cost, but sometimes i wonder if they assign rookie engineers to certain parts of the machine. Then there's the sale of replacement parties and money earned in the secondary market. I believe the bushings on the SXS's are better than the ATV's. They are improving the bushings on the new Sportsman atv and tell you in the atv intro. Strange they advertise extreme duty bearings that can be purchased on their site, my service department asked why do customers have to pay extra for these bearings, they answered it's only for those customers who ride their machines in dirt and mud...UGH! Polaris builds a good machine and they are getting better. Now i just feel more comfortable with Can Am. This is some sort of answer.

I need to upload a video on this. My tires were a true 32", installing 30" tires maybe the correct choice. I hope this helps. Stay safe
