- So me and Chris Flay hit the water again this weekend with one goal in mind. To head to Manningford Trout Fishery on the Hunt for some BIG brown trout action!

Excellent Video Guys, Cracking fish. Manningford is my favourite Fishery and am lucky enough to be local to it. Was gutted for Chris losing that Brown. I am still awaiting my first Manningford Brown and will be heading there this coming Wednesday. I did speak to Chris a few times via Facebook, (he gave me the code for Maxcatch), but he seems to have disappeared. Maybe catch you guys at Manningford sometime. Keep the videos coming :-)

I was there on the Tuesday after your visit. Nearly broke my duck for a brown. He followed my hothead cruncher all the way from under the cherry tree to nearly under the rod. In the end I thought he had it but no such luck.
They can be fickle beasts! The stock control is brilliant there though l, you always have a chance for a special fish
To quote Lee Wulff " A brown trout is too valuable to be caught only once "

Manningford however is a stocked still-water with a “catch and kill only” policy. I strictly only ever fish catch and release for wild fish where possible though!
