As an Oiler fan my fears are this; Skinner struggling Game 1 and the team losing early in this series. The Penalty Kill which has been average at best this year. And third is MacDavid's health. I don't really feel like Kane's play matters as much as others. If he plays average or under-average there's lines appropriate for that. But if he plays well he should see second line play and time. Halloway has to be in the lineup as well as Carrick. I'd be shocked if they weren't playing. Other than that I feel pretty confident the Oilers can defeat the Kings. The Kings have a lot of talented 2-way players though and they're no pushover.

Connor will not have or play with 9 complete years of experience until Game one of next year. Connor will have 8 years of experience until this Playoffs ends. All of next year he will have 9 years experience until those Playoffs are over if they manifest themselves as he works on year 10. Maybe this disconnect has also been a problem for the Oilers and Connor???..you cannot put the Cart before the Horse. : >) My years start on Game 1 of the Regular Season and end @ Game 82 or when the Playoffs end.
