But Mort wasn't done...after the event he went to yet another event in a quest to hook up another collector with a hotly desired Sega item...but that'll be what happens next time.

I had a blast at SoCal Gaming Expo and meeting you was definitely the highlight of the event! The panel was a ton of fun and picking up the Nomad was the icing on the cake. I can’t wait for the next one!

I've been slowly trying to catch up on the backlog of videos I need to watch. This looked like such an amazing time. Can't wait to see part 2 and 3 and I'm almost done watching the panel.

Really enjoyed this Mort! There are many stories told in this video. It’s always heartwarming to see someone adding a piece they really wanted to their collection and the generous deals made. I couldn’t believe the deal on Goemon and Harvest Moon! I just added a complete Harvest Moon for the collection (just under $200, $195 total but l don’t think l’ll find it cheaper) just haven’t played it yet. Also how nice to get the controller box swapped out :D

Holy smokes, man! I remember it being such an epic show...but watching it from your POV (and not being drug around by my insanely excited 7 yr old) was pretty amazing.
Also, FYI...eating at a lot of places in Ontario is kinda sketch...especially in the Mills mall. Same goes for the theaters to watch a movie...yikes!

@Mort's Garage amen! His excitement was a huge blessing. We were worried the show was going to be too much. We bought our tickets months ago and were just going to bring him on day 2 and have grandma watch him on day 1. Grandma got sick, so we decided to chance it for both days. He lasted an hour each day!
Our son is autistic and non speaking. Communication is hard, and he becomes overwhelmed easily in loud, crowded places. For him to go to something like a con is pretty big. He's been working very hard to get to this point.

Deep Elm is an emo label that had a lot of visibility back in the early 2000's. Some great artists were there :)
