We built this engine for a customer that''s looking to take this and compete in the local Autocross events and other competitions
it has a dedicated video when we upgraded the crower cam here
• D16 Mini-Me with Crowe...
The Skunk2 replica intake was ported by us as we tried to fix potential issues and watch along this video to see the stuff we had to fix
• Skunk2 D16 Intake Mani...
I also wanted to test drive with my TBRI Intake design just to see and reference the responsiveness, that is not just a fluke felt on my engine
The intake design story and process video is also here
• Intake and airbox desi...
We also did get to dyno it with good gains its on our dyno playlist or here
• Throttle Body Radius I...
also don’t forget to check

Ahhh yes. I had been thinking about this intake style again lately
It is indeed quite interesting
Can't wait for you to hit the dyno with this thing, gonna make 150whp with ease, sounds really healthy as well
true we can’t wait either!
Dyno time na !
baka soon 😂
one bee is sure happy with this one bro..hahaha
@@the063one haha nice nice!! Actually engine is sounding real nice too!
Like my friend friasss says nice one bro
yes sirrrrrr! 😎
is there a rough step in the intake design? most FSAE teams I know ran a restrictor similiar to this utilizing venturi effects, I am not sure if this makes sense out of a restricted use case but there's only one way to find out, dyno time :) you'll definitely get higher air velocity into the throttle body, maybe with a properly made plenum this could be amplified (so the air doesn't overshoot a runner, maybe a center feed plenum where the throttle body feeds it from below ? definitely interesting and nice to see
true on all accounts and def worth a test soon
U can check the older video and the reason to the design
You should make the intake an add on for an existing intake to sell out of 3d printing with high heat material.
that’s worth noting yeah
@@free_by_night2872 funny. I have been thinking of making my own, based on his information and findings.
Here’s the engine video we did finish up w/ Crower cam update

Thanks!!
yes sir 😎
Difference AFR dyno vs roll with velocity stack headlight?
If you tune 13:1 , velocity stack roll can hit like 13,5:1?
we havnt gotten to that yet with this engine but yes on the question it can hit that sometimes even more depending on the conditions
like at the top of 3rd and 4th
Ano po gamit na arp headstud sa D16A sidedipstick short or long po?
short
D16a6 is the best single cam
that’s my fav indeed
