Kingori, the topic of today about Talent has brought new dimension onto the employment sector. I am a Welder, I was trained upto the level of 5G. I can weld Ferrous and Nonferrous materials, test them for durability and strength. Welding requires hours and hours of training; and worse still Welding under water requires a person to be a good swimmer. Welding is the foundation of industrialization, yet Kenya hopes to to Industrialize with less that 20 dock welders. The Government must refocus on how to educate the youth to support this industrialization by 2030.

I did internships at the ARMGECO Dry Dock over there near Likoni Ferry just behind the Bamburi Silos. Then I was licky to attend a Symposiun in Witwaters Rand in South Africa. Later on I went for an Intensive Course in Casting and Welding at Central Metallurgical College in Cairo of Egypt. When I returned to the Country, I wanted to Register a Body of Welders. Unfortunately, I got a lot of resistance from all corners of Eng Bodies of quarters. 6 years later, I came across an opportunity I could not resist and headed out of the Country. You may call it brain drain, but, it was the best move for my family.

I am a trained teacher Bachelor's degree in Education English Literature but am now so much interested in the metal industry. Kindly give me your number maybe we can exchange ideas.
