I'm a Minnesotan. He's my governor, and I don't want to lose him. He's exactly the person you see here. He's much more of a centrist than he's been portrayed. In Congress he was well liked and known as one of the real centrist Dems, a consensus builder. He's a good guy with a real sense of where people are at.

I love how he talked about helping neighbors and the common good. I grew up in MN, and that is exactly what we did. In the winter, you carry a shovel and a bag of sand in your trunk, so you can help folks get out of the ditch if necessary. Someone’s horse or other animal gets loose, you stay up all hours doing what you can until that animal is back home.
Wisconsin guy here who has family in Minnesota and absolutely loves that whole state (besides the professional sports teams 😂). That’s how us midwesterners are. We take care of each other. When someone asks us for help, we help them. What if the entire country did that, coast to coast?

Walz is lying about his military service record. He was conditionally promoted from Master Sergeant to Sergeant Major E9 and was required to complete the SGM Academy Course to retain his rank. He had reenlisted for 6 years not 4 years as he recalls it. Then Walz learned his unit was scheduled to deploy to Iraq soon and a couple of months prior to deployment decides it is time to retire to avoid being sent to a hostile region. Because he failed to attend the SGM Course he was demoted back to Master Sergeant. He did not retire as a Sergeant Major as he claims. He did not deploy to Iraq in 2005. He does not put his country first as the Dems are describing him. He let his Soldiers down. He is not a leader. He is a coward and a liar. He showed his true colors and is now trying to spin the truth.

A German here - I´ve been an exchange student in 2013/14, while Obama was president. The country always had its issues, but when I got back 2018, the four years of Trump have been hell. Only thing I can say, as a guy, who was always interested in American politics - holy cow, Tim Walz brings energy to this race and he better does. He is the perfect democratic counterpart and I have no idea, why the hell they did not come up with him earlier.

Every governor (especially ones that reside in sanctuary cities) has communication with their rep’s and senators. They stood aside and did nothing. For votes. The modern day Democratic party is a party of all talk and zero action…..unless it involves perpetuating welfare or group identity division. Zero problem solving skills or accountability unless it involves taking something from someone else to give to another.
When we prescribe value to good oratorial skills, we all are sold far too easily. When you start to own the messes you’ve created, then we can have a serious conversation. But, then again, why solve any problems when we can just continue to vote to raise the debt ceiling. After all, it’s just pennies on the dollar for the taxpayers, right? Just bury your head in the sand……nothing to see here.

I’m a younger millennial, 2-3 years from being gen z and I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve been able to be enthusiastic about an election. In my voting years it’s been more about trying to choose the lesser evil but these two…seem like genuinely good people with solid histories to back up what they are saying.

A German here - I´ve been an exchange student in 2013/14, while Obama was president. The country always had its issues, but when I got back 2018, the four years of Trump have been hell. Only thing I can say, as a guy, who was always interested in American politics - holy cow, Tim Walz brings energy to this race and he better does. He is the perfect democratic counterpart and I have no idea, why the hell they did not come up with him earlier.

Well this was something huh. I realize it's all theathre and showmanship but my god did he nail this. I'm not even a US citizen but I felt elated.
