This is absolute perfection! The best tribute I've seen for my favourite character in the comic book medium; Marvel's cunning, ambitious God of Stories, of Change and Outcasts. Doomed to never be anything but Loki - Loki the bad son, Loki the villain - until the day he died. I love most iterations of him on-panel and on-screen from the classic villainous Liesmith pining for the throne of Asgard, to the modern day good-hearted trickster reincarnation. Your video perfectly captures most eras of the character! I share your take on him in the MCU, too. I enjoyed him in the first two Thors, but it bothers me how he's become a comedic figure since. The final straw was seeing him tossed around by Hulk so casually. The Mother of Monsters and Father of Lies would not go down so easily to that jolly green giant! I'm not sure I'll be watching the new series with the way things are looking. Oh well. I'll always have the comic one to love. Enough of my rambling now! Awesome work, you've earned a subscriber. Great to have you back! And what a way to come back. I love this song and it is an excellent choice for Loki. I love the comic book version of Loki. Menacing, cunning, sympathetic and witty. His story arc was one of the most complex and well written I have ever read in a comic. It is a shame Disney Marvel have turned the classic version into his water down MCU counterpart but that is what happens when something becomes too popular.
It’s good to be back! Agreed, the comics Loki is definitely the best. I do think the MCU Loki started out like that even if not as menacing as he is in the comics or Avengers EMH but just got more and more watered down over time. And plus even in the comics Loki hasn’t really been the same since Siege which is a shame.

So THIS is the guy you meant! :) I actually think even the light (non-deep) voice brings the song closer to paralleling Loki - the subtle match-up. ;) I think the lyrics about "The same old boy" and "I was young I'd always known" fit with how Loki's motives for becoming a crazed usurper to his brother are rooted in childhood issues, and I particularly love how you included clips of Loki brooding as a child and then an adult there to emphasise that. :) I think the "I will be your king" and "And now you've lost it all" represent Loki successfully usurping Thor and Odin and becoming King of Asgard and then immediately revelling in his victory over them (I'm only really familiar with the MCU Loki, but based on the clips from other Marvel continuities in this vid, it looks like that really isn't the only continuity where Loki succeeds in usurping their father's throne for a brief time), while "These toys are far too much for you" seems like Loki taunting Thor afterwards. :) I also like how you have clips of Loki looking angry or dissatisfied at "Took what is mine", as if he's resentful of Thor being their father's heir over him. :) Nice work! :)
Yep I did! I’ve had this video planned for a while now. And all the versions of Loki are more or less similar so it works really well with the song. I’d recommend the show Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes if you ever get the chance as it is a great show.
I don't know what to say about this tribute to Loki the god of mischief but it is pretty hardcore and it's super strong for starters it's powerful immense incredible and pretty kick-ass it makes me want to become the king of the entire world with an iron fist

I do like the actor for Loki in EMH. I think the writers of that show wanted to show his true potential, which is why they didn't make him the FIRST villain like in the comics, but the LAST enemy of the FIRST season.
Yeah it’s Graham McTavish who actually also voiced him in the Hulk vs Thor movie and he’s the definitive voice actor for Loki imo. I do agree with that although since Loki caused the Breakout, he is still responsible for the Avengers’ creation in EMH like in the comics

I am more familiar with the on screen Lokis than I am with his comics, I think the only Loki comic I read was Siege. I always did have a soft for the "Evil Wizard" archetype, especially those who can shapeshift.
I’d recommend the 2007 Thor series as it is pretty good and probably his best story overall. He is definitely my favorite MCU villain though especially if I only count the movies and not the tv shows.
