    Despite all the crap that happened to Tyson: wins, losses, gains, fails and all the allegations... One of the BEST OF ALL TIME regardless. I was too young when his career took off but all the stories and TH-cam videos showed me everything I missed.

    Mike Tyson's career record 58 total fights, 50 Wins, (44 knockouts) 6 Losses, 2 No-contest. The youngest Heavyweight Champion of all time, at 20. He was much quicker than most realized and his extraordinary power was explosive. “Iron" Mike “Dynamite in both Hands” Tyson, would have gone down as the greatest heavyweight of all time with a record well over 50-0 if Cus D'Amato lived and he never got messed up with Robin Givens and Don King.

    Forget defeating a prime Ali, you couldn't even touch him. The speed, the grace, the accuracy of blows thrown, the shuffle, the suave, the swagger. Unparalleled to this day! Rest in peace, champ! 🙏

    • @michaelrodriguez2597
      @michaelrodriguez2597 2 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      Fact. Joe Frazier beat an Ali pretty convincingly in their 1st fight. A prime Ali! Ali was 29 at that time and Frazier was 27. Ali also had trouble with Ken Norton. Both fighters as you know by watching these videos had tremendous left hooks and came forward. I know because I am an old fart who saw these live. BTW.. These videos are awesome.. save some of the commentary. Sorry for rambling. Enjoy Boxing! It was at one time one of the best professional sports around.

    • @strikingdiscussion5263
      @strikingdiscussion5263 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      He was a tremendous talent. And while I understand the impetus of your comment, it is a bit inaccurate. Sonny Banks, and Henry Cooper both dropped Ali (before his hiatus) as he kept his hands comically low in the pocket. So, he was not untouchable. Doug Jones also gave a young Ali a lot of trouble, and he wasn’t even considered a top fighter - nor was Banks. Many people embellish what Ali was capable of, he is an all time great - especially regarding heavyweights - but he had many flaws which would later be exploited by the fighters who beat him. In order to respect pugilists who achieved more than Ali but didnt have his charisma, it is best that would look at Ali - as a boxer - objectively as possible.

Also because of your hard work putting these videos together sir I am a huge fan of Mike Tyson during the 80s I was in the Marine Corps in missed all of Mike Tyson's fights I'm now able to watch my hero Mike Tyson come back to life I love this man he is still the best in my personal opinion I was an international sports trainer in-between sandblasting high steel Bridges I love danger I love blood and guts the reason why I like Mike so much is cuz he's honest and has a heart of gold and it's not ashamed to tell the truth when he is human this has gained my favor and respect for him

      Tyson was manipulated by King. Without a doubt if Cus had been around for longer he would have been a destroyer thoughout his entire career. King seperated Tyson from his trainer, Tyson was facing alot of demons and had the world at his fingertips. Tyson fell down a hole and clawed his way back up to the person he is today. Not many people can survive the temptation and purge his own demons and come out a better person. Tyson is an amazing human being, he has earned his retirement and happy ending. He has so much wisdom that's so valuable to listen to. I can listen to Mike talk for hours about life.
