The cold open is Dwight and Michael shouting fuck off and being bleeped anytime somebody looks in their direction. Michael’s accent fades into a bad Italian mafioso improv where he mentions both his daughters wedding and that Jim is crowned to be manager today. The second scene is of Michael firing Jim because he is not a killer, the accent is now reminiscent of Mike Meyers in shrek. Dwight can be scene in the background hiding in foliage and sends a message to the sales team about whivh of the salesmen will succeed michael. At some point it fades into a normal episode with at least one joke about Oscar and Roman, Stanley not getting why everyone else is so obsessed with the show, Pam having a weird obcession with Greg, and the Greg Tom ship and giggling. Kelly keeps making quips about Roman and ryan being similar, with a weird ambiguity about whether it is the political or secual problems. ryan is offended the entire episode and “wrote something like that” in my high school dorm” The last scene leans back into the parody with Michael breaking into a funeral that he told the office was a party and attempting to climb into a casket while saying jim and Dwight were mean and that now no one wins “fuck off”
I was gonna say the same words lmao he did understood the assignment Honestly I just feel like watching every other shows intro in this theme, lmk if u guys find a playlist or something
@@M4NA5 nah they killed it. If you actually watched succession you can see the savvy lines that drawn between the two. The intro is chaotic in nature. The multiple cuts on the same images. Okay Cold Open: Michael had just finished binge watching Succession and has started talking like Kendall around the office. He identifies himself with Ken. He has painstakingly pulled all nighters and obviously worked through office hours editing this video to the theme of Succession. He has called everyone early to the office to screen this video in the conference room.
GoT and The Office are my top 2 series and i’ve recently watched succession and totally loved it so your comment just explains why i liked succession this much 😭
@@TinkerTailorSoldier1 the director of photography and Jesse Armstrong explicitly said so, and you can tell from the shot composition, camera movements and angles

I always feel like Succession is just The Office's spin off but instead of watching average joe running around, we saw the higher up of the corporate 😂
More like Arrested Development meets Game of Thrones. George is Logan, Michael is Ken, Gob is Roman, Lindsay is Shiv, George Michael is Greg, Tobias is Tom, Lucille is Marcia or Caroline, Buster is Connor, etc.
This is one of the best if not the best videos I have ever seen in my life , dang not just a video but any kind of content i have come across. Perfect just perfect it is. Bravo 👌
A full episode where Michael acts like Logan Roy after watching Succession would be gold.
Doing a very bad scottish accent
And then, like when after he finished watching The Devil Wears Prada: "It turns out he was the bad guy".

The timing of Ryan on the horse is perfection. Lines up perfectly with the kids on the elephant.
I burst out laughing when I saw that scene.
I think the shot of Dwight smoking also lined up with the kids smoking.
Using the childhood footage of Michael is genius along with them watching the sheet of paper being printed
Hahahah brilliant work! The perfect timing of Ryan on horse is the cherry on top.
the timing of Michael fixing the position of his dundie is on point too. just incredible work
I laughed out loud
Ryan = Greg
Gabe = Greg
That was my favorite part.
The transaction from Michael at the call centre to sitting in front of the fire was brilliant.
Transition*
He used the two most perfect shots possible, it's amazing
I always thought that cousin Greg is a character from the office who accidentally wandered off to succession.
And this makes perfect sense.....😭
If it is to be said...so it shall. so it is.

Lol, and Michael gets just as into it as Kendall did directing the Living+ set (and recreating the clouds he saw in Berlin)
I got you all in the conference room, 15 years into my tenure to say....yo
L to the OG will be sung at a future Dundie awards, and he'll come out just like he did for OPP.
Sorry, Micheal is Logan and Dwight is Kendall!
This was BLOODY BRILLIANT I laughed but I also got chills. The detail is perfect and intricate. Bravo
THE ENDING WAS CRAZY
IT'S SO POWERFUL
The power the prestige.
A paper company worth billions of dollars.
oh my god the elephant/horse and logan/michael shots???? HELLO? brilliant
If there was only more old footage of young Michael....
There was the footage of him walking down the aisle crying at his mom’s wedding to Jeff. I wish that had made it in here.
“You dressed just like the servants” is such a thing Greg would say to Tom 🤣
And Greg would meekly say "Shut up". Then Tom would give him a warning look.
When I first watched Succession I said it's like Game of Thrones with The Office kind of humor but this.. this is a masterpiece
GoT and The Office are my top 2 series and i’ve recently watched succession and totally loved it so your comment just explains why i liked succession this much 😭
HAHAHA incredible. really need an episode of Michael pretending to be Logan and just yelling "Fuck off" every 10 seconds and it getting bleeped out
This is awesome! Great job with the references to the Succession intros
This feels like a comedy with a drama storyline, and i'm here for it.
Since both shows are done in a pseudo-documentary style, this fits perfectly. I died laughing, this is amazing
in what world is succession even remotely considered a "pseudo-deocumentary"?????
Succession is pseudo documentary style?

Masterpiece!!! The way you pick the scenes from the office that matched the scenes in succession intro pure genius 🔥🔥
Now this show seems to be the most serious shows of all
Exactly (even though plenty of these scenes from the Office are really cringy if you know what's happening in them)
That thumbnail is really wholesome
1:24 Why is no one talking about Jim leaving the office that aligns so well with the music!
I can't believe how accurate this is.
1:15 Suddenly I feel an unstoppable need to "cook", I don't know why...
And... oh, I got to tell you, it was perfect. Perfect. Everything, down to the last minute details.

i hate how this is unironically one of the best succession style intros i’ve seen
I love how you tried to match scenes from the original title sequence
this is amazing! needs to be watched by more people haha
Thanks for all the love, guys :)
I can only hope some of the office cast sees this. 👍
