Every time I played this level i would always look at the eggman statue and think there's something odd about it but now i look at it, it's not just an eggman staute it's also a metal sonic staute too. ( i was 11 at the time a very oblivious 11 year old)
I like how they tied each team's progression towards the egg fleet to each other: team dark knows where they're going thanks to Omega detecting the fleet's location, meanwhile team Sonic mentions they saw where Shadow was going and followed him to Hang Castle, while team rose is in turn closely following Sonic. team Chaotix in turn are on their own path, following Eggman's directions through their communication device
