Ken, is Lucky the one you had with you at HGGS Berlin one year? Beautiful recordings by the way, what a gift to have this kind of overview of your instruments!
@@kenparkerarchtoppery9440 this guitar made a very deep impression on me the time I played in Berlin. I remember discussing with my friend that evening while Berlin bar hopping what guitars and tools and stuff to sell in order to be able to guy one.. Well that did not happen, but it made me starting to build my own archtops 😊 so. Thanks a lot Ken
Gorgeous half a dozen! Thank you, this was really fun to compare. This last one seems to have more of the fundamental of the note coming through and the overtones are more subdued compared to the others, so seems to have some suggestion of that dry ”bark” of a classic old Epiphone archtop. Either that or there is less reverb in the mix (not the slap back of the 2nd and 3rd songs) and it sounds the most broken in. The first one might be the most valuable because it is made from the The Tree? All amazing but if I got to choose one, I like #3 Semeur for the mellow quality.
Of all Ken's creations, Lucky is my fav, aesthetically. Semeur however to my ear, man, that's gold.
Nice!
Wow , the sound all over the neck is so even , I would love to play one
