The Colossus bears a host of features that solidifies its place in the Heretic OTF lineup. Designed to deploy with immense strength and power, it employs a patent pending button glide action. Ball bearings have been introduced into the new button glide action, reducing friction, for a quick, but smooth blade lockup. Grip-enhanced inlays on both sides of the handle offer both style and functionality, though an inlay delete option is available for those who prefer a smoother finish. An ambidextrous pocket clip makes this an ideal carry for right or left-handed use.

I was all set to buy one of these in purple (don’t recall the blade type) earlier this year but the right biased button stopped me. I have a Manticore E and have an X coming and I really like them. I agree about the action feeling smoother on Heretics vs Microtechs.

I’ve been wanting to buy a heretic for a while, I love their unique designs and the fact that they’ve started using cpm magnacut. What’s your opinion on their build quality compared to Microtech?

I would have said better a few months ago, but these new gen 3 Miceotech models are amazing and better done than what they have done recently

What do you mean by curve? In the handle? It has some scalloped to it is its not just a rectangle like the scarab if that's what you mean

@@edged_mindset It was the grip I was referring to. I like that Heretic is willing to do something a little different, but I'm liking the Manticore X a lot more for that size of knife. Heretic really needs to buckle down for a while and start pumping out Manticore E and X models since everything else is easily available.
