You really have good taste when you're doing your vehicles man. It's always the right amount of exterior modifications to set it off without being too much. Can't wait to see it going
Seeing the cars/trucks you've built over the years, I was confident you guys did it the best way you could. Love this build & hopefully GM makes a single cab short bed 4x4 v8 in the future!
Man you have come a long ways. I've been following your channel for about 6 or 7yrs and I remember you working out of your home garage with the red C7.
You’re making your mark in history with these builds. 30-35 years from now people will be looking back and talking about all the cool trucks that came out of your shop!
Any plans to convert the longbed frame into a shortbed frame as a test now that youve seen the differences between the two frames. Maybe in the future you'd be able to just shorten frame/different tank/driveshaft/short bed and be quicker turn around
Hey brotha do you still have the vin from the truck you bought the frame from I’m wanting to get this done and I do parts here at the local Chevy dealer
It wouldn’t be possible to import a Mexican 4x4 v8? I know about the 25 year thing but not sure if it would apply to these trucks. I’m sure you looked into this already
I looked into it. Way too much trouble and for what those trucks go for in Mexico I build it myself. Also you have to remember…it’s content to film for youtube
God forbid you actually did your own research before beginning this build, which is quite the undertaking in itself, before the keyboard warriors start with the could'a, should'a, would'a BS 😂 You'd think they'd know after the ZL-1500, and ZR-1500 builds. Looks good, love the content.
Dunno why gm doesn't make a regular cab short bed 6.2 at least have it as an option ford does it im not so sure about dodge regular cab short bed with there 392 engine.🤙🤙🤙
(Your not completely real to regular people all they see is a TH-cam video) Many regular people don’t have any clue to what it takes to complete an undertaking like this, especially the different aspects of understanding needed, it’s definitely not a one person job.. great work guys keep it up..
bigger is always better! 5.3L vs 6.2L I mean without even touching it you are getting like 100+hp and TQ over the 5.3 its not that they are bad at all pretty much the same engines and there is also a 6.6L option that guys are starting to use/build
Truck design hasnt changed.. ever. The fact is, that a coil spring is not only weighted to that engine, but its dependent on do you have AC or Not. Even for my Dakota, there was a V6 spring, V8 spring, 4x4 V8 spring (1" higher than 2wd) and if you had the RT (which was a 1" lower than the 2wd regular V8) same goes for the Leafs. Thats how you could take a 70s to now 3/4 ton, throw on the 1ton coils and the longer studs and fenders and you got yourself a Dually. Only difference is, theres also a 3/4 and 1ton driveshaft... my Dads 05 3500 diesel Ram; after 12k miles the dive shaft had a bad vibration and the Dodge warranty mechanic said it was a 3/4 ton driveshaft with corresponding part number. whoops.
What do you all think of the truck so far?
I like it. I still don’t understand why gm won’t make something similar. Ready to see it come together
Bitch is killer! Pun intended.... great job as usual!
Who gives a F if gm builds it. Justin and his guys are getting done better than Ole gm ever could of anyway..
The trucks going to be sick bro 1 of 1
Fuggin nice bro extra clean
I’ve been saying someone needs to do a big v8 4x4 new body. Love this build. Can’t wait to see it run the streets.
You really have good taste when you're doing your vehicles man. It's always the right amount of exterior modifications to set it off without being too much. Can't wait to see it going
Top notch work. Honestly like every build.
Man this is so sick, please let us know what you have into this project after it’s done just out of curiosity!
Really great build,Thanks for explaining about the frame and modules.

The color matched front end looks amazing! Way better than a F-150 IMO…although I’m biased as I have a black Sierra AT4 😆

Good vid man, u guys are killin it with projects, and i CANNOT WAIT to see more boat content this summer at loz. Cya there!
The copo truck is coming together
you have good taste building stuff, truck looks kill. KP Bandit is coming along nicely.
Thank you!
So are you saying you ordered a non USDM frame from the dealer? The v8 shortbed frame specifically?
I love this build the most . I want to see an lt swapped obs dully
Your guys are animals!!! 🔥 They know their stuff and ain’t playin no games!! Truck looking amazing as everything else yall create!
Will you do a cost break down like you did with the obs trucks when you compete it?
Looking forward to seeing this one hit the road! Who is doing your paint matching in the KC area?
I use both Justin Tanner and Pete Dutzel
Any plans to convert the longbed frame into a shortbed frame as a test now that youve seen the differences between the two frames. Maybe in the future you'd be able to just shorten frame/different tank/driveshaft/short bed and be quicker turn around
Yes we will
Any chance of sharing the part number for the frame you used?
This is one bad ass build brother! Truck is looking tough.
Hey brotha do you still have the vin from the truck you bought the frame from I’m wanting to get this done and I do parts here at the local Chevy dealer
I really love the build, someone needs to put down these coyote f150s
Truck looks dang good👌
This thing is gonna be absolutely amazing
I love those wheel well openings 😂😂
Invite OnDGas and FreddyLSX for the SCT in KC at the new track!
I love it! The front end came out killer! I love the grey on it. Is that more of a matte finish? Can't wait to see that truck all done!
Pretty cool build, but something I couldn't afford. Can you dive in a little further on the V fuel pump and its plug and play adaptability?
What kind/brand of front upper control arms do you have on the truck?
Thank you for explaining that !! Enjoy watching ur videos bro Shout out from houston 😎

@@StangkilrProductions yeah forgot, I didn’t look at the business side of things. This definitely will bring you attention/business and money 😀
God forbid you actually did your own research before beginning this build, which is quite the undertaking in itself, before the keyboard warriors start with the could'a, should'a, would'a BS 😂
You'd think they'd know after the ZL-1500, and ZR-1500 builds.
Looks good, love the content.
Research? What’s that? Lol
Let’s GO BLACK BETTY!! Hope this will be the Name of the new Build! It’s one of my favorite Songs!!!!!
This is really cool! Thanks for sharing!!
Looks badass man🔥🤟🏽 can’t wait for it to be done!
What year is the frame for? 14-18?
Truck is looking beautiful, terrific work!🤌
Is this for you or cleet? I’d really like to see this thing next to some f150s
It’s for me! You will definitely see it
Who does your paint work?
@StangkilrProductions Do you have any stock parts for a Blackwing u might want to get rid of ?
Nothing yet.
what year of truck is the new frame from?
Dunno why gm doesn't make a regular cab short bed 6.2 at least have it as an option ford does it im not so sure about dodge regular cab short bed with there 392 engine.🤙🤙🤙
Do your thing boss man. They should know better.
Great video keep up the good work.
I was gonna ask that but figured you know what you’re doing anyway and yup you got a oem Mexico frame
How sick would it be to swap the front end off an Escalade V?????
Not sick! I hate when people do that. Just go buy a damn Escalade lol
It looks vicious!
On that zr1 - are you upgrading the HX on the sides?
Or the one in front of the radiator?
Trying some top secret stuff. I was joking about the HX 😜
@@StangkilrProductions I blew one of the c7 zr1 side coolers apart. I am looking for a stronger all metal one.
Thanks!
Who did the paint work?
Cleetus McFarland got reg cab gmc.
Need to give him some competitions 😎
I want to speak to you about a specific build.
Does General Motors at this point not see that people want a V8 short bed here in the USA?
Amazing work!
Thanks a lot!
Can't wait for Bradenton! Is Cam gonna be out at SCT event now hes a pappi?
Nope he is taking a break this year.
It’s crazy because I for sure asked myself this last video
GM is about to be on top boiiii 😂
Are you Building this one for Betto with ODG too? That truck would look Great in his collection. 😊
Nope this one is for myself
I’m pretty sure Beto would just go to Mexico to pick up an original short bed v8 from gm
(Your not completely real to regular people all they see is a TH-cam video) Many regular people don’t have any clue to what it takes to complete an undertaking like this, especially the different aspects of understanding needed, it’s definitely not a one person job.. great work guys keep it up..
When it's all done, you should bring it in to the guy you bought it from and be like "I thought I asked for a long bed..."
Blows my mind that GM won’t do this. Even just a limited production run and $15k-20k mark up. They would sell faster than they could produce them.
You going to try and gap Garrett's f150?
Maybe a stepside obs I love for you guys to build one and raffle it off
Love your trucks
Justin you have a lot of money sitting behind you in the video
Just a few old trucks
Not gonna lie I was hoping you’d build the 5.3. I’ve been wanting to see what they can do but no one really builds them
bigger is always better! 5.3L vs 6.2L I mean without even touching it you are getting like 100+hp and TQ over the 5.3
its not that they are bad at all pretty much the same engines and there is also a 6.6L option that guys are starting to use/build
No roll pan?
I’d love a 2024 Cheyenne. If only.
Looks cool
Great content
cant wait til its out there hurting those f150 fan boi feelings lol.
If you started with a I4, wouldn't you still have electrical nightmares?
Oh gotcha, should have waited
Bad ass!!! 😎😎

You must have played left field in baseball
I can wait for this to gap some f150 s
If you ever decide to sell it let me know I’ll finance for 50 years 😂
All that work and no headers? Why are you keeping the factory exhaust
I think people have gone 8s maybe even 7s on the stock Gen v manifolds
I’m doing a turbo kit.
You going to come fight fire this year¿?
Hy u gone kill the Gm game 🫢😍😍
That a a no0_o.......
You could of just bought one from Mexico and brought it to the us, a lot of people in cali have done it already
Y didn’t y’all just bought a v8 short bed there’s a lot out there for sale short bed
Wrong…
Why not just buy a V8 short bed from Mexico?
They’re going for more than this swap costs
