That’s insane. I hope & pray that there’s nobody else missing in any of those vehicles, or possibly someone that nobody even knows of that’s missing in any of them 🥺
Most are from scumbags who steal cars and then dump them in the rivers/canals.
Their most recent video shows them finding a different missing person in one of those cars
I'm not sure if you have time or would be interested, but a town right by me has been looking for a missing 14 year old girl named Ellie Carder in Troy, Ohio. They found her bookbag in The Great Miami River, which took their investigation from land to water. She went missing January 31st. They found footage of her near the river right before her disappearance.

In 2020 I was diagnosed with breast cancer nd sat in hospital having chemo on ur own no family allowed I was at my lowest point,I started looking through utube nd found AWP. Years ago you started with cleaning up water ways, then switched over to finding missing persons. Have you considered adding clean ups back? In this water way you have 20 plus cars alone! All of them should be pulled out. Congratulations on breaking the 30 mark too.
They report it to the proper authorities. Usually the city does the clening, it's their responsibility in the end anyways. The AWP team can focus on looking for missing people, while in a way doing some passive cleaning or rivers and lakes.
Jared you and your team are such an inspiration. I know it feels awesome to help other people get the closure they need. Also you are adorable 😊

I grew up on the lower columbia river and the amount of vehicles in the rivers and sloughs is amazing. You all do amazing work!
I know you guys will never see this but when you find 10 cars like this, I’m sure you let authorities know that vehicles are in there in case someone else is looking for their family and never even thought about maybe possibility that they are actually in the water I’m sure you do blessings and all you guys do

Most compact or midsize cars have 5-spoke wheels. 20" and bigger wheels on P/U Trucks and SUVs will tend to have 7 or 9 spoke wheels.

Why would law enforcement leave all these cars in the water. How many bodies are in them.
Great questions!! There is a lengthy list each jurisdiction could rattle off of there own excuses. Fact: they are just that. (Poor) Excuses!
Bodies? The likelihood of them being insurance frauds or stolen is far, far greater than being an accident scene. And it is not cheap to get them pulled out safely. That IS a consideration, when the vast majority are NOT missing people.
If the Police start pulling all the vehicles out you know where they will get the money right? They will have to increase their annual Operating Budget and it will come from the Taxpayers.
The local police search teams should use them to "practice" diving on and removal. And newer search teams could practice sonar search, since they know where the cars are already, and dive and removal.

There is no way to tell if a vehicle is the right one on the screen. Without diving down getting hands and eyes on it some kind of tag or SERIAL NUMBER. THAT WAY YOU CAN RUN IT.

This is a very interesting show. I have a question though. When you find other cars under water, do you let the authorities know? So they can see if there are other people in those cars?

What I always learn from these videos is that law enforcement are lazy and majority of the people missing are in waterways
One thing that pisses me off is when you say yupp we found so and so and can't even fully get the description correct on solinar. Whether it was there or not last year or 2 weeks ago. Don't say you found someone if you don't know. Just say we got a car and it's a potential.
So what do you do with all these cars you find? Do they just stay there? I mean just because it’s not the exact car you’re looking for it probably is somebody, I mean, there’s probably a family out there or something yes, I know some of them are probably stolen and dumped
AWP provides local authorities with the GPS location, sonar images and basic vehicle info. When or how each jurisdiction responds varies. In most cases, they have a list of excuses, but IMO out of sight - out of mind.
