Hey I really appreciate it man! So that particular play set is from Wal Mart. They do several…this particular one is the “Kid Connection Space Exploration Play Set” What’s funny is that they are made to scale with much smaller figures but, somehow it just works. Hope to getting around to customizing them one day. But they are great for 20 bucks or so. Thanks so much for watching and joining in on the conversation!
Excellent video, I have most of this line still and really gave some thought into my top 5. 1) Power Arm Terminator. I agree, one of my fav Kenner toys of all time with a great look. I used the silver spike to quickly eliminate enemy T-800's in my pretend Future War. 2) Endoskeleton. Yes, his accessories were silly but he looks great with light piping red eyes. 3) John Connor. Could never find this key character until the T2-3D refresh in 1996/1997. Glad to snag him then! 4) Hot Blast Terminator from T2-3D line too. They took 'Battle Damage' Terminator and added a permanent new wounded robot torso/head. Plus, his gun could melt a T-1000. 5) Cyber Grip & Kromium. Yes, they may be a bit cheesy, but I loved having new villains to fight. In this case, a jacked up evil Terminator with spikes and a cyborg who could have been a mad scientist working for Skynet. I'd add my Bio-Flesh regenerator but it never worked right and only filled the mold halfway, thus leaving the whole top of the figure completely robotic and a failure at blending in! 😂😂
Thanks man! Nice top 5 your self. I definitely am curious about the Kromium figure. It’s happened before where I didn’t have much interest in a figure until I owned it. Once I had my hands on it my mind changed a little. It’s possible once the get one of those I could have my mind changed. I like how you broke it down how you use them with your figures that would totally work. I’d really like that 3-D John Conor. I like the paint job on that one. Dude sounds like you got bunk bio flesh regenerator! Mine definitely worked when I had enough supplies but I ran out of the stuff pretty quick. It was still fun.
@2DayRentals Haha! Thanks. My reply was long enough but I only was able to get the Bio Flesh Regenerator as an adult, which means the powder was really old by that point and not functioning properly...leading to hilarious results of Skynet incompetence! LoL (half a cyborg!) Also, you're right about the funny hairstyle on Secret Weapon Terminator. Cool feature and awesome chaingun weapon but that did look silly. Many of my friends used that as the villainous T-800 from part 1 because of his look.
That would’ve been awesome. I’m curious to check l out Terminator Zero on Netflix this weekend. Dont know what to expect. Would be sick if we got figures from the new cartoon! Thanks for watching and making me feel like there is some alternate universe where a kick ass Terminator Cartoon from the 90s exists! Ha!
That giant T-800 looks awesome, and as a 90’s kid I also have a soft spot for the giant ninja turtles toys, the big fake Ken and Ryu from the flea market…and Giant Robocop…
It’s always been my favorite thing from the T2 line. I’ve seen some of those giant turtles out and about recently and they are pretty neat. Lanard did a large scale predator they sold at Walmart and it’s really neat. Definitely screams 90s and looks similar to the large predator Kenner did… flea markets are always a great places to look. I love them.
😂 you’re the first person to point that out! Lol I noticed after I uploaded the video 🤦♂️ lol but nice catch. I was wondering if anyone would notice. Consider the Kenner Catalog video a done deal! Hopefully I will get around to it before the end of the year! Thank you so much for stopping down, watching and joining the conversation!
I had these as well, however I only had a few of them as a kid, they weren't that available. My 1st one was the battle damage terminator, which had the weirdly even distribution of chest skin that popped off. Power arm of course, loved that thing to bits, but sadly the claw arm got lost on the way to America on a flight, very very sad. Exploding t-1000 by far the best as you say, though I did by Ass-Blaster when I was an adult just for the hilarity of having it in my collection. Chromia is also amazing just as a "kenner what the hell did you do!" moment, as is cybergrip. A very very weird line all in all, the figures needed more variation, more characters, needed more humans quite frankly and the fact they didn't give us a deluxe t-1000 with 20 different body parts is just a crime. Would have been so simple to do as well. Oh BTW that ultimate terminator, plus their robocop used to go everywhere with me.
Brutal! It was the worst losing accessories as a kiddo. Completely agree the line needed more variety. For such a massive film I kind of feel Kenner but it on the back burner. Ah well. Glad we got what we got! Thanks for tuning in!
I was working at the theater back in 91 didn't know about that talking deluxe terminator if I did would have bought it I'm thinking of pulling the trigger there's one on ebay since I seen yours now I need him lol
Great video! What is that play set in the background? It lends itself well to the figures. Love your Kenner Aliens video as well.

This was a great line and I had a lot of these figures.
Yeah I’ve always really liked it no doubt
The Kenner toy line feels like it ties into a T2 cartoon series we never got.

I had the Kenner Terminator 2 Judgement Day Battle Damage Terminator Action Figure
Omg Elvis' leg before he slid across the screen made me think there was something on my phone screen
Plz do a video on the kenner catalogs!

My favorite Terminator movie by far!
Yeah. It’s a tough call for me but, I think I’d have to go with T2.
