The ikemen sprites still need improvement to be to the capcom standars, it would help a lot to get a sprite artist that could unify all of them style wise, because some of the new ones actually look pretty good (Kars is surprisingly faithful to what a HFTF sprite should look like), but then you get uncanny looking ones like Cesar and Zeppeli.
Not to mention fixing the voice lines that automatically interrupt each other, those shouldn't happen, the whole point is hearing the full quote ass they're performing the move
It's hard making mugen characters and sprites, anyway a lot of the old and best creators and spriters just don't do it anymore or a seperated by language barriers or tend to isolate themselves, etc and mugen isn't very popular so sadly I don't think something like that could happen which is a massive shame

Some movesets felt a little lacking, and we didn't see some key characters: Speedwagon, Dire, Straizo, Wammuu, Esidisi, N'Doul, Okuyasu, Akira, Yuya, Shigechi, Narancia, Formaggio, Pesci, Doppio(?), Squalo/Tiziano, Cioccolata, Ermes, Anasui, Weather (and most of SO), Gyro, Valentine, Diego, Alternate Diego, or anyone from Part 8. Now, I've been following this project/similar projects for a while, and I know some of those characters have been created, and I also know that the project's been reorganised and certain assets have to be made again so this isn't a full release or anything, but still felt it worth mentioning. Also, a few quibbles: why do most of the voice lines cut themselves short when they're not individual moves (e.g 0:09 - none of those lines are going to be played in another context, so surely we can have the whole thing?), why can Kira Yoshikage (not Kosaku) use Stray Cat's bubbles, why do we not have a revealed Diavolo, and will we get an updated/new Jolyne (& SO Cast) with their Anime voices, or was it decided that they'd be better with previous game voicelines?
Damn this game uses Moody Blue's ability in such a creative way for combat. If Abacchio uses Moody Blue to replay his own actions after a very short delay, it is basically like having a physical after-image that can actually assist him in fights.
So glad Santana finally gets in something like this. I'll shout this from the rooftops till the day I die, Santana DESERVES to be in a jojo fighting game.

They did a really good job highlighting kira's preferred close to mid range combat to kosaku's mid to long range air bomb combat. His fighting style noticeably changed between his two identities. All returning arc characters in those games felt like legitimate seperate entities instead of slot fillers.
There is also a Jonathan's Special that deals a huge amount of damage. But if you didn't kill your opponent with that special skill, your the one who die

The voice clips being anime josuke but everyone else in DiU being ASB/EoH voices was a bit jarring, ngl. Especially considering Vento Aureo also got the anime voices. Great work otherwise, looks fucking sick.
