One of the BEST actors who was ever on television and a man who embraced Western living, the cowboy life. A man who also embraced beautiful music with his beautiful singing voice.
Very saddened by Johnny's passing.. He was a true gentleman and class act and talented as ever.. I grew up on him watching the Rifleman every week as a kid.
Johnny had such a sweet romantic voice. He and Chuck were two of my all favorite actor's they both worked so well together. Was so sorry that he passed away recently.. He will be missed by his fan's
I'm so sad that you passed away yesterday! You were one in a million! The Rifleman was one of my favorite shows & still is. R.I.P. JOHNNY CRAWFORD! WE LOVE & MISS YOU!!!
Johnny is singing with the angels now. What a fantastic guy! There was never any trash written about him because he was a good role model for young people!!
Yes Mr. Crawford was a great role model. A life well lived. TY Johnny for serving our nation 🇺🇸 honorably. TY for my boyhood memories of the Rifleman. You were amazing with a lariat Sir. A true gentleman indeed.
Wow!! I was just googling him. So sad now finding out he has passed. What a great singer too. Rest in peace Johnny. I enjoy watching you on the "Rifleman"
Johnny Crawford was like a brother to me even tho we may have never met. I, like millions of others, grew up watching him on the Rifleman & other movies and felt this warmth and love that always would shine through all the characters he portrayed. thanks, Johnny, another angel with the Lord. Amen!

Mr Johnny Crawford was one of the very best all around performers that ever was. He was so genuine in his performance in the Rifleman. What a great man ! Why has ME TV not given his death more reconstruction? No one person in death is greater then another. I have not even heard it on the NEWS ? ? ? God Bless Mrs. Crawford ! Rest In Peace Johnny !
I am so sorry and sad that we lost gentle, loving Johnny Crawford. Not only was The Rifleman my favorite TV Western but Johnny always added such a realistic element to the show as Mark, in his relationship with his TV father, Lucas McCain, played by Chuck Connors. It was my good fortune to meet Johnny, many years back, when he and his Big Band were performing at the Biltmore Hotel in L.A. At the break, I asked if I could possibly sing one song with the band since I sing lead vocals in my own band ( Rock & some oldies) At first, Johnny refused but then after I sang a bit a cappella, he said “Sure, come on up here” and so I got to sing “Dream a Little Dream of Me” with my dream actor, Johnny Crawford, conducting his Big Band! What an amazing evening ! I took pictures with him and his lovely wife Charlotte and I treasure them . My heart goes out to her and all their family and friends...he truly was one gem of a singer, actor, & band leader and he will always be remembered for making our lives that much more special. 🎼🥰
All of the Western TV stars that I grew up with are all passing away & it makes me sad. I am 65. Is it alright that I shed some tears for Johnny Crawford? RIP

I've been a fan of Johnny's for 60 yrs., ever since the Rifleman days. It was an honor to have met him when he performed at Michael's Pub in New York a number of years ago.
May God's love and mercy fill your heart, mind and soul dear Johnny with peace, comfort and joy. Bless you Johnny for all the love, joy, music and fond memories you've given to so many through out your life. May Heaven's angels touch your body and guide your spirit to the Father's arms.
