- Guitar forms, guitar side bending equipment and guitar clamps are all here in the shop for this important task. Bending the sides for an acoustic guitar requires one to be careful and deliberate.
The builder of an acoustic guitar has a special relationship with that guitar, tone-wood, guitar shell and the guitar strings. It's no wonder why the luthier takes so much time to apply a proper finish to the guitar because an acoustic guitar is an art in the hands of an artist called a guitar-player.
So, the guitar builder or luthier prepares carefully using heavy equipment to bend the guitar sides with love and respect. The specialized heavy equipment makes bending the sides for an acoustic guitar fun, fast and accurate.
Most every luthier will confirm the joy that comes as one sees a guitar takes shape. It's not enough that a guitar is portable... the guitar must look and sound great.

Hi Sir! Quick Video tip, if you put a nice ambient desk or standing lamp in the back corner, it will create some nice cinematic depth to your studio/set. even adding something like a cool neon sign in the shape of a musical note (like a G cleft) would looks super cool too! Love your videos

Easy to follow, great instructions. One question is, will you show us how you create a form and how to create one for a standard guitar and a Spanish classical guitar.
I am going to use a standard form on a video in about three videos or so.

That’s awesome. Maybe ask about a dust proof light as the GoPro will be fine with the dust. All you have to do is properly to wipe the dust off it once in a while.
