I've always thought there were audio issues. Like the voices are drowned out by the music (which is GREAT). I need to finish this game so I can hear "Young man" again
“Your Knowledge will serve-its destruction is at hand,” is such an odd and specific splice that it must be important. (Wild speculation incoming) I still think Yoko is Lilith’s Knowledge, but Lilith doesn’t seem like she’s interested in fusing with her. The Ideal World trailer’s video description called for wiping out *humans* and demons. I think that Lilith wants to free Knowledge from humanity.

Honestly finally anyone gets screen time. As much as I love the franchise the first version of SMTV was clearly a project that was cut before being finished the gameplay was there but the story barely existed. Hopefully this version is a good redemption for it.
Gameplay was actually fun tho. Interractions between demons and the atmosphere was really great but story only in last 2 hours or so and it was nothing crazy sadly

I mean look at persona 3 reloads DLC the absolute last day of may with literally no news no nothing and a quick trailer randomly on I think just Twitter. So it’s not just Nintendo atlus put this way of doing things in motion
It comes out a week before Elden Ring's dlc, it is the wrong time. By the time i'm done with that this will probably be free on gamepass anyway so i don't mind.

Hype. Even though everyone gave SMT5 mixed and poor reviews, I adored it. Criminally underrated, misunderstood and overlooked game. The world, art direction, atmosphere and sound track made this my favorite SMT and I even like it better than any personas. If that's how I felt about the original, I can't imagine how amazing this edition will be.
It was supposed to be a good game it was just clearly released before they would have wanted it and ended up with barely any story and being held back by the switch.
But the vision they had was clearly very cool and combat wise it's probably the best out of the smt and persona main line games.

I've been waiting for this since SMT4 as i didn't play the switch release. The wait was worth it.
Aside from great gameplay and a few interesting side quests, you didn't miss anything. This looks way better than the original SMT5.

I'm a huge fan of Persona but never played SMT. This will be my first, and I'm looking forward to it!
It was the first SMT game I completed, in May to be precise. It's very addictive and accessible, and I suggest that you try it on Casual difficulty.
@@gotinogaden no, not casual difficulty. @ColecioNandoPixels Play it on Normal, if you struggle then turn it down, but I recommend playing with the challenge.
Started playing SMT 3 to get more hyped for this and haven't finished it yet 😭
It's not an extremely long game to be honest. I did it just before the original smt5 and I got through it.
SMTV is a lot longer so you may get burned out.

I'll be glad to finally have this on a platform that can run it. Liked the base game on Switch, but the performance drops were significant enough to hurt the presentation
And even when it ran well it was still 30 FPS at a lower resolution. I just got myself a new PC I can't wait to play it at 60 FPS with a nice resolution.

Releasing a full featured even single player game on PC that their target audience will be happy to pay for. A lot of companies could learn from this. This looks like a definite pick up or even pre-order/preload.

I honestly didn't know that the Persona Franchise was a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise.
Now that you know you should definitively give them a chance.
The persona games are great, but SMT is far better (gameplay wise)

Honestly a basic google search could have let you have known that information, for example; persona and Smt are made by the same studio named atlus, Smt and persona share a somewhat similar gameplay but there are definitely a few major differences in its gameplay. Smt is mostly a game you play for the gameplay and proper pacing where the game is mostly more story driven while persona is mostly a game created for the social sim aspects, story definitely has a big influence in persona but persona games are known to have awful pacing because it’s mostly a game that you play for social sim while Smt tends to be more forward and direct with its story telling so Smt games just tends to have better pacing and Smt games are not really known to be anywhere as dialogue heavy as persona games are. While persona is mostly just a game you simply only mostly play for the social aspects and mostly the story and characters. While it is true that mainline Smt games doesn’t have a long history of actually having well written games, smt 4 was the first mainline Smt game where the story and characters are arguably almost on par with the writing and world building of average persona games, so Smt 4 set the golden standard by about how we should expect Smt stories to be handled. So from then on when it came to smt 4 positive reception most people were expecting future smt games to have good story and characters but sadly we didn’t really get that with vanilla 5 but maybe things could be different when it comes to Smt 5 vengeance but we’ll have to wait and see if the story becomes a drastic improvement from the horrible vanilla version, hopefully it doesn’t end up being as bad as Smt 4 Apocalypse (which is somewhat of a what if scenerio or sequel to Smt 4 but the story and characters were poorly handled in the sequel)

Mentioning Persona on this type of videos is a coin toss with a 49.5% chance of getting benevolent suggestions and 49.5% chance of getting some balding 30 yo crybaby yelling about how one series / game is bad and you should not mention it lol.
But yeah, I think both are fairly enjoyable, so you should defo try SMT / Persona if you haven't.
(And fun fact, some instances of the first persona games still hold the title "Shin Megami Tensei")

His hair turns gray, he looks like a fusion of nahobino mc and nahobino tsukiyomi. Hopefully it has something to do with the miman as well. Their backstory is suspiciously unsatisfying. Further, the worlds within the leylines feel really disconnected from everything else in "vanilla." I'm looking forward to seeing if they can pull something off with this. I think Atlus has a lot at stake on this game. Expect it to be divisive and possibly awesome.

YES! I was worried it would be a hd port with new stuff. It looks really nice now. Buttery smooth too!!! Switch owners can enjoy the new stuff, but will still have the much inferior version

SMTV is one of the few times I went Law (the other options were ass tho and I don't like perfect neutral endings), alongside DeSu1 and SMT 1. Interested where I will go for Vengeance.

I'm sorry but that's delusional thinking. It could be slightly more stable, maybe, because they have previous experience with the engine on this platform but the switch just doesn't have the hardware to run a game like this at a steady 30fps in any circumstance.
