People seem to keep forgetting that The Great Seal and the "Universe" Arcana isn't a power to destroy or dominate because it didn't destroy Nyx, it's a seal that stops her from hearing humanity's desire to give up on life and his own answer that life is worth living despite everything he lost. Both Yu and Joker have these answers too albeit different from HIM with "The Truth beyond the fog of desires" and "Rebellion from the shackles that hold him down" respectively. It's not about how strong it is, It's much do they believe its the right thing to do.
It's cool that the P4 and P3 protag are back but I feel the way in which they were kinda makes them feel like punching bags rather than actual boss fights.
It would be ridiculous if they were; no way you could fight the world arcana or universe as full strength Also imagine if P3 used fusion spells. Making himself invulnerable to everything for a turn (including almighty) and following up with Armageddon the next turn

I feel with their existing models from the dancing games it would have been easy to work with them and add animations. Maybe for the inevitable re-release of Persona 6 we'll see this with every past party (or so I can hope)
Not sure I get the persona choices here. P4 was clear, Izanagi, Izanagi no Okami as his own Persona with Kaguya, Kohryu, and Sraosha there because they're rank 10 from the social links for Mari, Dojima, and Nanako respectively. All three are people close to the P4 protagonist, and are appropriately representative of him. P3 has Orpheus, Thanatos, and Messiah because they're his, but Attis and Siegfried puzzle me. Attis is from the Hanged Man, which is Maiko (girl at the shrine) and Siegfried is Strength who is Yuko (sports club manager), neither of which seems of particular singular importance to the MC. Honestly if I was choosing I think I'd got Norn and Metatron. The former is Fortune which (at least in Portable) represents Ryoji and the latter is from Aeon which is Aigis, both of whom seem actually personally relevant to the P3 protagonist.
Norn wouldn't make much sense too, it only represents Ryoji with female protagonist, Makoto's Fortune social link is still Keisuke, and he's just a random classmate. But honestly, this is a problem his social links have, he's not really close with any of the male characters, and most females he can't have a platonic relationship, so picking which of his max rank personas would be complicated, it's surprising enough they went for Siegfried, but yeah, not going for Metatron is weird, and if any of the other females were to be used, it'd make more sense to be either Cybelle (Yukari is the only girl who has a crush on him no matter what, and The Answer can make it look like he went far enough in her social link, though it's moot how much, her jealously makes it look like it wasn't that far) or Melchidezek (Chihiro's cameo in P4 confirms he did her social link for long enough, but again, moot how much). I was thinking that maybe Siegfried was picked because he was one of the better Ultimate Personas in P3, but if that were the case, then Odin should've been picked too... So it sounds like Atlus either picked Siegfried at random, or they're confirming that Makoto became a lover with Yuko.
From what I know it's based off their anime counterparts where Yu got his personas from his bonds with people & Makoto got his personas from defeating the full moon shadows. Strength & Hanged Man are arguably the strongest full moon shadows the SEES has faced (not including Death) and that's probably why he got Siegfried & Attis with him.
Gotta love how in the Yu video they're both fine in the thumbnail, but here both are looking as if they fought for hours of constant throwing sp attacks at each other
This battle gives me hope that one day, Persona 3 will get a remaster (or maybe even a remake). And after that, maybe the previous titles. Never got around to actually play the first one.

Stealing hearts is, in reality, removing a person's ego. Even if the Metaverse were still a thing, you cannot change how humanity fundamentally sees the world, nor should anyone have the power to do so. They shouldn't have given Makoto/Yu's Personas weaknesses, it makes them way to easy to beat alone let alone with a full party. And they should've given them maybe 2 actions per turn so they can get multiple attacks in since their damage output on a decently leveled party isn't amazing
Actually they should just make if you not beat them in the time span or some turn span they will cast something like megidolaon or armageddon that can instant kill them. I mean the whole game is actually just too ez even thought i play in hard in my first playthrough i think it's just ok to give some hard challenge in the game. (If you know what i mean)
Passione Nera I'm grateful for what we got, but that doesn't mean I can't critique it, nor does it mean I'm angry. It's just a bit annoying that the fights are really just your party smacking Makoto/Yu like they're punching bags for 20 odd turns.
Door-kun would've said one or two sentences at most, anyway. He'd casually walk away and say something like, "Back to work. That was interesting enough."
It should be mentioned that joker is the only smt character who explicitly shows he is stronger than igor (decimated jaldaboath who defeated and imprisoned igor). So while alot of long time fans instantly assume joker can't compete with most smt characters, he is actually hellishly strong with satanael. Additionally, in persona 5 strikers he defeats another world monster who is likely even stronger.

Since he is Philemon's servant, we can say that he is also made of the subconscious. So saying that he is weaker than the false God does not apply, because the false God strengthened himself using the will of the masses. So he may have subjugated Igor by having access to that.

Same, and the explanation to why in Q2 is chilling as well. The gunshot is supposed to stimulate the actual pain a gunshot would cause, spiking their adrenaline and thus, summoning their persona.
Hmmm. Could be a bit better. Like a lot better. Compared to the P3 version his evoker didn't have nearly as much kick to the head and he was surprisingly weak. Which doesn't make sense considering he is probably the strongest or second strongest Persona user.

They shouldn't have given Makoto/Yu's Personas weaknesses, it makes them way to easy to beat alone let alone with a full party. And they should've given them maybe 2 actions per turn so they can get multiple attacks in since their damage output on a decently leveled party isn't amazing

Actually they should just make if you not beat them in the time span or some turn span they will cast something like megidolaon or armageddon that can instant kill them.
I mean the whole game is actually just too ez even thought i play in hard in my first playthrough i think it's just ok to give some hard challenge in the game. (If you know what i mean)

It should be mentioned that joker is the only smt character who explicitly shows he is stronger than igor (decimated jaldaboath who defeated and imprisoned igor). So while alot of long time fans instantly assume joker can't compete with most smt characters, he is actually hellishly strong with satanael. Additionally, in persona 5 strikers he defeats another world monster who is likely even stronger.
It should be mentioned that joker cannot even use satanael in strikers and still crushed him.

Since he is Philemon's servant, we can say that he is also made of the subconscious. So saying that he is weaker than the false God does not apply, because the false God strengthened himself using the will of the masses. So he may have subjugated Igor by having access to that.

As someone who hasn't gotten the chance to play P3 yet, seeing the MC pull out a gun and shoot himself in the head was...chilling, holy shit
Same, and the explanation to why in Q2 is chilling as well. The gunshot is supposed to stimulate the actual pain a gunshot would cause, spiking their adrenaline and thus, summoning their persona.

Hmmm. Could be a bit better. Like a lot better. Compared to the P3 version his evoker didn't have nearly as much kick to the head and he was surprisingly weak. Which doesn't make sense considering he is probably the strongest or second strongest Persona user.
