It's plain that Remy is more comfortable on a bike than in a media interview (which is as it should be!!) but the relaxed interview style encourages him to come out with some really interesting stuff. Super modest, talented guy who fell foul of of how incredibly short the paddock's memory is. Riders like Remy and Sam Lowes really need a proper go (complete with good support from the team) so that we can really know what they can do. He's already coming forward in WSBK and I'm thinking we'll see him on a factory ride next year.
Kind of you, thank you, he definitely made me work hard to get the best out of him - two reasons for that, 1) MotoGP media training means they’re not quite used to the relaxed style of interview as they’re used to journos looking for a story and 2) his Press Officer was 3ft away listening to every word so we both were on our guard. The Press Officer thing isn’t new, it’s the norm at WorldSBK and MotoGP level so you just adjust accordingly. So glad he relaxed after 10 mins or so, though… 😋
Another coo by off Track great interview Dave I thought that Remy looked a little pensive shall we say but you managed to put him at ease so well , absolutely brilliant interview I am sure that many of these guys really aren't that keen on doing these things. Great questions and Remy was really good and came over so well much enjoyed and I think it's the most I have ever heard Remy say well done guys great watch cheers .👌👍
Not as pensive as I was once he’d rattled through my early questions 😂 he’s a great guy and that MotoGP media training comes from dealing with proper journos looking for an angle or a story, so I fully appreciate his wariness. Thanks so much for your kind words, CM, it was so great to see him physically relax because then I did the same 😉
So good to see Remy feeling good. I'm still trying to figure out how he ended up where he did but it's all working out. I always look forward to your content Dave. Always super interesting. You've definitely hit your sweet spot mate. Brilliant stuff. Wishing you all the best.
Thanks Richard, really appreciate that. He had me floundering in my head after rattling out the quick answers in 3-4 mins to questions that usually buy me 10 mins at least 😂 fair play tho, coming from MotoGP a relaxed chat is something he’s not used to, it’s more often journos looking for a story, so it was quite alien for him in that scenario.
I’m used to longer answers to my questions; I don’t mind admitting I was struggling to get more out of Remy until he relaxed because his PR man was 3ft away and we had 30 mins to fill 🙂
I’ve said it before. How this channel hasn’t got loads of subs is a mystery. Fantastic content.
Always appreciated, thank you - step by step we’re getting there 😊
Remy is a superstar and truly humble.
Indeed. He’s a fine young man. Still remiss he didn’t get one more year in MotoGP.
Rapidly becoming my favourite rider in WSBK.. Go Remy, get on that podium.👍👍
Big fan of this guy, humble, authentic and great rider. His Moto2 WC year was amazing.
as a Turk and a Toprak fan ofc, I like Gardner's style on a bike. he is a serious and decisive rider
Remy doing really well , keep up the good work 👍

Great to see Remy doing well. A moto 2 world championship is an amazing achievement. Ktm did him dirty. That calender just kills the world sbk season!
Aww, that was nice mate, he really warmed up part way through
He had me worried after he’d fired off all fast answers by 10 mins, I was panicking a bit in my head, but we got there eventually… thanks Phil 😁
If Miller can get a ride in GP this kid certainly should

Thank you so much, Mark 🙏🏼 I hope you’re doing as well as can be, mate
Good interview! Coaxed some good stories out of him. Love Remy..
Thanks so much, I was concerned after 10 mins but we got there eventually 😁 such a great lad 🙌🏼
Remy seems a real decent guy. Great interview Dave your getting good at this 😂

Great job. I really enjoyed that interview. He's a nice bloke that Remy.
Genuinely nice guy, yeah - thanks for watching, Andrew 🙏🏼
Quite a shy lad, then you relax him with Enduro and woooosh he's happy and chatty. Good interview.
Thank you so much 🙏🏼
Lucky enough to have met him a few times, great guy. Doesn’t love the limelight just cool and wants to ride fast!
Nicely put, Jon - exactly how he is 👌🏼
Like most aussie's he's cool and laid back, enjoying life. Why is that?? Enjoyed that interview.
Thanks Andrew, so glad you enjoyed it. He's definitely got that Aussie chill down to a fine art!
Good too see Remy in good form...keep it pinned Brother...🙏🇦🇺🙏
Need that Billy Bolt/Remy Gardner collab 🤙
Good lad Remy. Train hard ride easy
CMON REMY, TOP 3 AT THE END OF THE WSBK 2024 SEASON BRO
he basically asked the same question 4 times about his adaptation to the bike.
I’m used to longer answers to my questions; I don’t mind admitting I was struggling to get more out of Remy until he relaxed because his PR man was 3ft away and we had 30 mins to fill 🙂
😅not only is he a brave rider, but to make his girlfriend drive after that, a braver man than me gungadin😂
😂 agreed completely, Ian!
