This video really helped out, when I got the flex blades I was overwhelmed by all the pieces included. I had no idea they were adaptors. You also showed me how to remove the old wipers, thank you so much.
I know I feel the same after trying to put it together reading their instructions.. It's why I'm on here.. Oh yeah with a 149 IQ no I'm not the dumb one, these god damn instructions are!
@@kevinwhiting8391 wow almost as if the video was posted as a guide where the only thing that matters were the instructions. I’m just letting other people know to skip 75% of the video.
The problem with this video is that it doesn't show how to remove Adapter 1 so that you can replace with Adapter 2,3,4. I will explain how to do this. You'll need a small flathead screwdriver to slip into the sides of adapter 1 in between the two small pins on each side that grab the wiper blade. Pry each side outward with a little bit of force. Then pry off the adapter from the wiper blade (also takes a little force). After you get it off it is very easy to press on the proper adapter for your vehicle. If you need a picture of these plastic pins (or tabs) let me know with your email address and I'll be happy to send to you.
I liked the video, just skipped to the part I needed, I was hung up on thinking I HAD to use one of the adapters but this helped me and I changed the blades right out with no issue. I have a Corolla and it worked no problems. Thank you! :)
Thank you for showing me how to do this. Bcz today we got a snow storm and I had to purchase new blades and I had no idea how to. But this helped a lot. Thanks .
I now you might be thinking that most commenters complain JUST to complain about something but some complaints are really valid. For instance, there is no benefit in seeing you go to the store to get blades (we know how to buy blades!) but there IS benefit in seeing how to put them on! If your aim is good content then the 1st few minutes was spent with you wasting the viewers time. The only value was when you put then on, but even then it was wobbly and some of it was cut off where we needed to see it the most. Maybe next time you can either use a camera tripod or get someone to hold the camera so that we could see what you're doing in its entirety AND without it wobbling. Just a suggestion for future videos!
Really? That's great! I bought mine the other day and after staring at it for a moment I decided to find a video to show me how to detach the old ones and put the new ones on. That's how I got to your video but when I got to the part that was giving me the biggest problem, that ended up being the part of the video that was cut off! I'm going to have to keep messing with it (I hope to God that don't break anything) but it's good to know that once I get the new wiper blades on they'll still be working great! Take care!
Thanks for this video. It helped me replace mine with DuraLast wipers. I will add - check the sleeve before leaving the store. One of mine was missing the additional attachment pieces and the instructions. Of course that was the sleeve I opened first. All done now tho - thanks for the video!
It would also be phenomenal to actually show how the wiper blade mounts. The video is shows both wipers after the mounting bracket is basically on... 🤦🏻♂️ not sure what the point of this is then, if one cannot ascertain the correct angle the blade is to be mounted and inserted.
I JUST BOUGHT THE BLADES FROMAUTO ZONE BUT THE INSTRUCTIONS DO NOT SHOW HOW TO INSTALL THE 18 IN BLADES FOR TRUCK AND SUV AS I CANNOT MATCH THE LARGE HOLE TO THE PIN ON THE ARM.WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? THANK YOU
Too hard to say without looking at it. I would go back to the store and ask. They install wiper blades all day long. Ask someone with a gray shirt as they usually have been there longer or a manager

From the directions, I thought the j hook went behind that main part and I was getting pissed and confused. Now I see that it actually goes on top and hooks inward on it😂 I feel dumb
These wipers appear to be missing CLIPS on the top side of the wiper housing. I purchased a 21" and 20" version of these, and the 20" is also missing the clip, so it is NOT secured to the wiper.
Unlike Bosch, yes no clips. But that is not the biggest problem with these. THE RUBBER is inferior and makes horrible noise and streaks as of today. Switching back to Bosch today.
@@MajorWeakness I mean, these can't be worse than my last wipers, with the rubber part sliding out of the blade... But I don't understand how to attach them, without a CLIP??? The 21" version has a clip. I don't get it.
Yours may have been missing I would go by the AutoZone you purchase them from and see if they can show you or compared to another package. AutoZone is pretty good about swapping things out or giving refunds
I get my wipers off Rock Auto. Auto parts stores are a ripoff and don't have a good selection. On my Ford truck, I've had the best luck with Motorcraft beam blades, which Rock Auto sells.
This is my most popular video for some reasonreadon. I have learned to get to the point quicker. Check out my other wiper blade videos. I get to the point quicker and quicker you wont believe how quick.
They are now both skipping and are not smooth with light rain. Heavy rain ok. I plan on doing update video. So far no better than average. I did another video on the Duralast SUV Aero. Try to watch that. They might be better
Can't BELIEVE how hard it is to replace SIMPLE windsheild wipers!!! Duralast are CRAP as far as trying to install!!! I have never had such issues before!!
See my new video on the new truck and suv AutoZone Duralast wiper blade "Aero Duralast Truck-SUV" wiper blade. It seems much better than these especially for dirt, snow etc. The video is now uploaded on my channel.
I used to buy all my auto parts from AutoZone. Then one day I stopped in to get some wipers for my vehicle. I bought their store brand and they looked okay. The next day it rained and the wiper was horribly streaking on the driver's side. I went in for a refund or exchange and the manager told me they do not refund or replace wipers. That was 6 years ago and I haven't been back since.
That's unfortunate, there are 3 Autozones in my area and I only go to one which has great service. I had a problem with one of the other stores and I called the district manager and she made it right. I like the Bosch blades the best.
If you have the receipt and something doesn't perform the way it's intended you have every right as a consumer to return it and get a full refund if anything is defective as streaking it's either a bad wiper or you have oily buildup on your windshield if it doesn't perform the way advertised you can definitely get a refund and at the very least just grab another waiver
@@HandyRandy3200 yes, back in the day my first job was at an auto parts store and we had a line of books 4 feet long, sure learned alot from the books, but could you imagine the people today trying to look something up in a book?
These windshield wipers are extremely difficult to put on I was having trouble so I'm back up to AutoZone and they also had trouble installing them but they are really good wipers installed now. Yes the AutoZone account every time you spend $20 five times you get a free $20 purchase it's rewarding for sure
