He paid the debts we were unable to pay. And God respected his wish. There's a reason Jesus asks God to forgive the people who crucified him. He is God in human form, able to understand the human experience fully in its entirety. And was still able to be the most perfect human possible. That is why he has the authority to be worshipped. He and the father are one.

Why do Christians not understand? It takes 40 days of fasting to face Satan face-to-face and not fall into temptation. It's God's power being challenged through Christ. God wins all the time! So should we win through Christ, but it takes days of fasting to deal with demons at lower level. Fasting overpowers demons of a certain type and level. Why do Christians not understand? It takes 40 days of fasting to face Satan face-to-face and not fall into temptation. It's God's power being challenged through Christ. God wins all the time! So should we win through Christ, but it takes days of fasting to deal with demons at lower level. Fasting overpowers demons of a certain type and level. It's a weird concept for people to grasp, and no one is "burning in hell" for calling the Christ "God" or for not believing. Our actions, and more importantly, intentions is what dictates our level of judgement.
The tales of death and return of atheists were so trippy and compelling I know in my soul thst it's not the formal belief in Jesus being the Messiah that saves you, despite what people say. There are many who genuinely believe but also believe that now their salvation is guaranteed, and they continue lives of wickedness.
I think the rub is that how could one truly learn of the Christ, and not be moved by His righteousness?
It's almost like anyone who genuinely gets exposed to the tales of Jesus and is a good person will invariably be moved by Him. Those thst aren't have wickedness in their hearts. So it's not the formal faith, it is good vs evil.
